Neighbourhood


My heart weeps for Moab
Isa:15:5

Moab is a country, that disturbed the children of Israel quiet often. A set of people born out of ridiculous priorities and absurd and bended truths. Lot's foolish choices gradually led his family farther and farther away from God and though they were saved miraculously by God's hands, his daughters had awkward thought processes and mindsets and that gave rise to the Moabites who troubled the Israelites as they came and resided in the promise land. 
Supposed to be their cousins but troubled them day in and day out. 
It is about these ridiculous set of people that God says - my heart weeps for Moab. 

God's love is not for a set of people whom he has beforehand chosen - like the Israelites, like the Christians or even a sect of people within these communities. Yes definitely God loves them. But not them alone. His love to mankind in general is not something which can be considered silly. 
God loves every single sinner. The key verse in the Bible starts with - For God so loved the world. 
His love cannot be restricted to the act on the cross alone. Yes that is the epitome of His love. "There is no greater love than giving ones life to his friends."
His heart weeps for every soul that drifts away from Him, who rebels against Him and revel in those disgusting things which pains Him. All of those who turn their backs to Him trample His bleeding heart and walk off. These are His children, whom He has fashioned by His own hands, created in His own image. He weeps. 

Yes you are special in God's eyes. So is the one whom you hate the most in the office, the most difficult neighbour, the most difficult child, the most irresponsible person at work. All of them are His beloved. Just like you. Just because they are difficult or irritating doesn't make Him hate them. 
Love your neighbour as yourself, now becomes more significant.

Seated on the right hand side of God

Heb:8:1 The Son who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven. The Son is eligible. The Son is worthy. He is equal in character and essence and existence as the Father. In Him and through Him and by Him all things were created and all things sustained. Ruler. Supreme authority. The Son. The Lamb who was slain for the salvation of man, humbled Himself to the death on a cross to redeem mankind. He alone is worthy to sit on the right hand side of throne. Saved

Tit:3:5 He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. No matter how many times I think about this, I am all the more overwhelmed each time. There is no monotony. This is no jargon. There is no monochromatism in it. That I am saved not because of my righteous deeds, but by His mercy. Not because I deserved it, but He chose to. Cleanse

If a man cleansed himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy and useful for the Master and prepared to do any good work. Flee from the evil desires of the youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace. 2Tim:2:21-22 Cleanse yourself from ignoble things and set yourself apart for noble things. Why concentrate on the evil desires of the youth when you have more richer things to pursue - like righteousness, faith, love and peace. Make yourself useful for the Master in the way you can; concentrating on being holy and doing things for the Kingdom. Why waste your time and energy in useless browsing, meaningless chatter and harmful quarrels. Pursue godly things. Unless you feed yourself with godly things, there is no pursuing noble things. Lazy

We do not want you to become lazy but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. Heb:6:12 Being lazy in faith is a dangerous thing - not actively working out the salvation you have freely received by grace. Not actively doing things because you are saved. Continuing on things which once entertained you. May be harmless things. But it quenches the Spirit in you. Not feeding on the right things, so then the new man is stunted; and feeding on the world's things so then the old man is still allowed to grow.. Forgetting the fact that the old man is dead. Proactively do things out of your faith. So that you will inherit what has been promised. Are you lazy in applying your faith in testing times? Are you lazy in spending time with the Word of God? Are you lazy in praying and fasting? Then it would be hard to inherit what has been promised.

Blabber

Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it, will become more and more ungodly. 2Tim:2:16 Refraining from harsh painful words, that hurt others is a godly advise. Here is a step further. Useless, harmless, godless chatter will make you more and more ungodly.  Unnecessary loose talk will take you nowhere. Talk with a purpose always. Use words, what you really mean. Have a discussion which is worth it.  Your words, let it reflect who you are - a child of God. An ambassador of God. Royal priesthood. Heir of God. Talk like a prince, not as a commoner. Do not blabber. Be men and women of substance - by having a solid content in your words. Talk to each other about things which do really matter.  But for that you need to have that content in your heart.
