The halfbaked Bard

Ruth clung tightly to Naomi. Wherever you go, I will go, wherever you live I will live. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God. Orpah and Ruth were given the same choice. Orpah wept and kissed her mother in law good-bye. But Ruth clung tightly. There was no doubt that Orpah loved Naomi, like Ruth  Initially when Naomi, told them to go back to their mother's homes, they said in unison. "We want to go with you to your people." There is no doubt that Orpah loved Naomi. There is no doubt that Orpah wanted to go to the wonderful homeland of Naomi. There was no doubt that Orpah received a glimpse of the God of Naomi. But Ruth clung on tightly. If Orpah had taken that decision to cling on tightly to Naomi, like Ruth, her life would have been totally different. But here we know nothing more of her.
