Today is the day - a prose

Look, He is coming with the clouds. Rev:1:7a Yes, He is coming Every prophesy of the Bible has come true So this is going to be true as well All fingers point to this That the world is nearing its end And Jesus is coming back To judge the world. This who put their trust in Him Those who have been saved Will be over joyous and dancing merrily But those who rejected Him Those who pierced Him Those who ridiculed Him will mount So today is the day. Not for His coming  Because no one except the Father.  But today is the day for you to take that bold step Today is you are convinced, accept Him In to your life, give Him the throne. Accept what He did on the cross And the punishment He bore on the cross was for your sake And without which there is not salvation. No raksha .  If you confess with your mouth And believe in your heart That Jesus is Lord, you shall be saved.  And in Him alone is your salvation, your raksha. This is a time tested truth. And it will be ...

Short of words - a prose

To Him who loves us and has fixed us from our sins by His blood, and has made us to be a Kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father. Rev:1:5-6 What a privilege. Blessed privilege. Given. Gifted. Not earned. Not deserving. Not as wages.  But because of grace. Because of love. With my sin, I cannot even stand there And therefore because He loved, He freed. He paid the penalty. He faced the consequence. The very thing He abhored, He took up. For me. To make me Kingdom and priest. I deserved eternal hell. But He made me sit  In heaven. On a throne. Next to Him. With Him. With the Father. And the Holy Spirit. Just imagine. With the Almighty Supreme Ruler. For eternity. When I deserved only punishment  And eternal rejection. It is His doing  To Him be the honour and glory. Because He alone is worthy. What love is this? I cannot fathom. Who made His enemy His friend. Who made a wretch His treasure, His signet ring. Who made a worm, a king. What for? I do no...

Love is walk - a prose

2 John:6 And this is love, that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. Love is obedience. Obeying His command of love. Everything you do is based on love. Love to God; and love to others. Love is the source based on which you act; you live Love not manufactured from broken cisterns But love that pours out from the source of unending living waters. Without love you do something is not genuine, but superficial and mechanical And that is not walking as He walked. He walked with love. He lived with love. Love to the Father.  And love to us, the fallen ones. He first loved us. He is love. And therefore He obeyed. Looking forward - a prose

Looking forward to the coming back of my Saviour, Looking forward for that day to come like a thief, When the heavens will disappear with a roar, Looking forward for the day when the elements will be destroyed, And earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Because you're looking forward, you ought to live holy and godly lives, So then, since you're looking forward, Make every effort to be found spotless, Blameless and at peace with Him. Be on your guard. Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2Pet:3 Image courtesy: gemini

Humble yourselves in God's hands - a prose

Humble yourselves therefore under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. 1 Pet:5:6 What is there to be proud of What is there to boast When you face with much suffering What is there to retaliate Just keep quiet and humble yourself Under the mighty hands of God He shall lift you up in due time God is on your side, dear one. And if God is on your side, Who can be against you. Who can stand against the Mighty Holy One? If you face undue humiliation If you face undeserved ridicule If you suffer injustice Humble yourselves under the Mighty Hands Of God, and He shall lift you up in due time. For God is on your side. Reacting or retaliating Trying to gain things by might - no, not that Instead humble yourselves in God's hands For that is all you can do and  all you need to do. He shall raise you up in due time. Big brother - a prose

Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. Heb:2:11 A big brother Tempted in every way that I am Yet without sin A big brother who suffered in every way when tempted Therefore able to help us all Who are being tempted. A big brother who understands fully What I go through A big brother who is there With me till the end of days. A big brother who is faithful to the dot A big brother who promised To go to His Father's house And arrange a place for me And has promised to come back To take me home Jesus my big brother The assurance it brings The source of the peace that passeth all understanding  Amen, Lord Jesus; I trust  Image credit: https://www.stocksy.com/photo/812114/two-brothers-holding-hands-walking-on-an-autumnal-forest-road

Above - a prose

Col:3:1 Set your hearts on things above. Since you have been raised with Christ Since you have been called out of the system of the world  Set your eyes on things not of this world But above. In the heavenly realms. Not the foolish frenetic running. Not running in the rut. But on things above. Fix your eyes on Jesus. His beauty you behold. His magnificent persona you pursue. His hands you hold. His footsteps you follow For your life is now hidden in Christ In Him alone is your purpose.

Hope - a prose

Christ in you; the hope of glory. Col:1:27 The hope of glory that we have, we will have The hope of glory of God that is about to be revealed The hope of no tears; no pain; no sickening sea The hope of the returning of the redeemer; my lover Is Christ Jesus in us. Jesus said - If you have the Son, you have life If you do not have the Son, you do not have the life Christ in you, is the hope of all glory that awaits If you have Christ in you; He is coming back to take you home For He has gone to make a home for you In His Father's house And as He promised He is coming back Just the way He has been taken up So He will come; to take His bride home The more the Christ in you; the more the hope you have The more you trust Him, the more the hope Mythical stories vs a reality The distinction is this - Christ in you or not. There is no in between stance. Whether you are for Him, or against Him. Image courtesy: https://www.vecteezy.com/free-photos/hope

Hope - a prose

Phil:3:20 And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Saviour. Hope is something which pulls you through Hope gives you energy to cling on Hope gives you the motive to press on When hope is based on a person Who promised and has fulfilled every single one . I will be with you till the end of days. I will not leave you nor forsake you You will do greater things than these To name a few personal ones. Look at nations being formed. Look at nations destroyed. Look at Jesus Himself when He first came. Now all the more reasons to hope for the mother of them all. I am coming back to take you home. Oh! In every tragic; it brings a smile In being unloved; it brings the feeling of being loved In devastation and desperation; it brings hope. Amidst uncertainties, it is certain. My Lover is coming back for me. My Father is coming back for His son. My Friend is coming back for me. My very own Jesus is coming back for me. To take me home. Star - a prose

Phil:2:15-16 You shine like the stars in the universe as you hold the word of life . In this crooked and depraved generation  Stand blameless and pure  As children of God without fault Stand out shining The key is to hold out the word of life Because that is the difference Because that brings the difference The Word of God Jesus Christ in you In comparison to the prince of the earth Ruling and controlling This crooked generation  Retorting back will not work Not will behaving the same way sort out. Only the Word of life. Image credit : https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/how-to-find-the-ten-brightest-stars-in-the-night-sky-180985148/

Humbled. Exalted. - a prose

Phil:2:6-11 Christ was exalted when He humbled. He humbled Himself In obedience even until death Therefore the Father exalted Him And His name above all else. He made Himself nothing. Therefore the Father exalted Him. That at the name of Jesus Every knee should bow In heaven, in earth and under the earth And every tongue confess That Jesus Christ is Lord To the glory of God the Father. In true humility, there would be exaltation God would cause it, because He resists the proud. But if you dream to be exalted, while you humble, Then that is not the true humility intended. That is only a shortcut you desire, to exaltation. In true humility, there is servanthood. There is selflessness. There is only absolute giving Not what would I gain. When Jesus humbled Himself . He was only mindful of me. He was only thinking of me. He was only thinking of redeeming me. Back to His bosom. The lost me. He was only willing. To be separated from the Father Out of His love for me. He was only...

Worthy - a prose

I urge you to live a life worthy of your calling. Eph:4:1 Called by the Almighty Eternal God. Called out of the miry clay, from that deep pit. Called into a great salvation Called into the everloving Father's bosom. Called for eternity. Live a life worthy of it. Not as a failure. You're now His child. Live a life worthy of it. You're now His possession. Live a life worthy of it. Nothing can separate me from His love. And now there is no condemnation. Live a life worthy of it. Thankfull; filled with His love;  keeping yourself humble; loving one another. Father - a prose

I will be a Father to you And you shall be sons and daughters to me. 2 Cor:6:18 To the fatherless To the loner To the friendless To the one for His sake is persecuted and ridiculed and pushed to the corner He says, I am your Father. And you will be my son. You will be my daughter. You are my beloved child. No matter who is against you. I am on your side. The Creator. The Sustainer. The Beginning and the End. Through Him, in Him, for Him and by Him. All things were created. He says, if you touch my child, you touch the apple of my eye. Even if no one else is there for him, I will be. Especially when he has put his trust in God. Will He not be a shield around him. Will His love be not a shield around him. Not that He is obliged to. But out of shear love. Not that I have done great things for Him. And He owes me big time. But He just loves me and I am His beloved. I will dwell in him, is His promise. Filthy as I am, if He chooses to abide in me. Purifying me. Cleansing me. Tra...

God of peace - a prose

1 Cor:14:33. For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. Let there be peace in your heart In the middle of confusions. Yes the clutter will dissolve And there will be clarity. That God will work on your behalf And bring in a solution. God is able to bring peace, In the midst of the confusions. But He is able to clear the muck and the mire as well It is His job to do that You in your finiteness might not be able to But His infinite wisdom will He will do it For He is the God of peace, not confusions. And He loves you  And He doesn't want you to struggle In the clutter; in the chaos He will clear for you Trust even when it is uncluttered That He will do. Yet He will do. Still He will do. For sure He will do Without doubt He will do. Because of the peace and the love,  Therefore He will do. Mere men - a prose

Are you not walking like mere men? 1 Cor:3:3 Why are you mere men, when you have the mind of Christ? Why are you running for the things of this world, when you have the mind of Christ? Why jealousy and envy, when you have the mind of Christ? Why the strife and unrest, when you have the mind of Christ? Why the faithlessness and unfaithfulness, when you have the mind of Christ? Mere men run around material things. Mere men look for earthly satisfaction. Mere men have shortsightedness rather than eternal heavenly perspective. Mere men think of finite goals. Yet you have the mind of Christ. Invest in the word of God and not fleshly motives. Invest in unceasing prayer. Invest in trusting and holding fast to Him. Not like mere men who have temporary goals. But you have the mind of Christ with an eternal mindset. Image credit: https://feedingonjesus.com/2019/05/07/never-lost-in-the-crowd-2/

Enslaved

Rom:6:22 Enslaved to God. I want to be enslaved to God. I want to do things which please God. I want to come out of the slavery I'm stuck in. Where I am forced to do things which I hate to do. As a new creation, slave to righteousness I am made. I am free indeed, but slave to God. I want to be a man after God's own heart. I want to be a person doing the right things. Making the right choices. Seeing the right things. Hearing the right things. Filling my heart with the right things. I want to hate things which I once loved. I want to resist my old master and surrender to my rightful Lord. Reciprocate the Agape Love to me. Unconditional love that loves me without any tags. I want to be a man who thinks only about my God. Always. I want to, but I am unable to. I fall miserably again, yet again. Creating wounds and scars around me and in me. Scars that are difficult to heal. Still my selfishness I pursue. The old man forces me. Though I need not listen to his voice. And...
