Better to keep quiet

James:1:20 For man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Anger is in no way beneficial. It neither brings the righteousness that God desires in your life. For anger almost always results in sin. And it comes as a result of sin. Anger leads to bitterness. Anger leads to fits of rage. Anger leads to lack of love. - results in sin. Anger comes out of selfishness. Anger comes out of bitterness. Anger comes out of holding on to your selfish point. Anger comes out of not letting go. - comes as a result of sin. Nor does it bring the righteousness that God desires in their life. The one on whom it is angered upon - he/ she will discipline oneself may be out of fear. But not long lasting. Not out of clear insight or understanding. Not out of love. Then there is the righteous anger which Jesus had in the temple. A genuine outpouring of judgement on seeing what is wrong. But will you be able to draw the line? Therefore be slow to anger. Refrain. There i...

Anger

Pro:14:29 People with understanding control anger A hot temper shows great foolishness.  May the Lord give us wisdom and understanding to be calm. Not to blow the lid. Even in our minds. Because it is utter foolishness the Word says.  Jesus said if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgement. Such is the Son's standard.  Eph:4:26_ In your anger do not sin. Even if you are angry, do not nurture it in your mind. Learn to let go. Let there be no grudge. Do not let the sun go down in your anger.  Do not express your anger to someone else. Do not let your frustratiom out. Cry out to God instead to heal you and ask Him to gift you with the calmness and love of the Son of Man in Calvary. Suppressing it will not help. Let it be filled with Agape love.  Let us not be foolish enough to ruin our own lives and theirs by being angry.  Image credit:  https://pixar.fandom.com/wiki/Anger

Loud Speaker

Patience is better than pride Eccl:7:8 How is patience and pride linked? If finishing and starting are antonyms; so should patience and pride be too. I thought the opposite of patience is impatience and that of pride is humility.  What we need to think here is: why do i get impatient? By being impatient, when I get frustrated, what rules my heart?  When I am teaching my children; I do get impatient when I am filled with pride. When I am not able to come as low as their level; I am not able to tell them over and over again. And when they are not able to decipher out what I am trying to convince, that is when the loud speaker mode is turned on.  Yes, impatience and pride are surely linked. And humility results in patience and persistance and perseverance.  When you realize that you are not somebody really great, it will be easier for you to come down.  When you are not swollen up with pride; it will be easier for you to fit and squeeze in to every situ...

Anger

Esth:2:1 But after Xerxes' anger had subsided,  he began thinking about Vashthi. Anger is the easiest way to ascertain authority. But definitely not the most effective way. It brings regret. It brings a feeling that you have done a mistake. It brings hurts  It never brings in surity of you doing it the right way. It never brings clarity. Anger comes out of pride. It comes out of the thinking that you are right. It never considers the other person more than yourself. Eph:4:26 In your anger do not sin;do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. Eccl:7:9 Don't be too angry because anger lives in the fool's heart  Being angry - doesn't have love in it. We are called to love each other. Not to be angry at each other.
