Isa:1:1
Though these words are specifically written as visions Isaiah the prophet had about Judah and Jerusalem, when Judah was rebelling against God, rejecting Him. It is very much applicable for us where we have lost the first love.
Gone are the days when we would worship Him, exalt Him, cry our hearts out in thanksgiving for what He has done in our lives. Now we have a list of petitions and prayers.
God is definitely Jehovah Jireh for us. But is He El- Elyon? Is He El-Shaddai?
Is He our Adonai?
He is our Jehovah Nissi. But is He our Jehovah Tsidkenu?
We want Him as our Jehovah Rapha. But frowns when He is our Jehovah Mekkodishken.
No matter how we perceive Him to be. He continues to be Elohim.
Worthy of all our praise, honour and glory and power.
He alone is worthy. The Lamb alone is worthy
Has my love grown cold?
Have I taken Him for granted?
Lord renew my love. Bring me back to your bosom.
