Fire - poem


Love flashes like fire. 
Song of Songs:8:6

Love is like fire
It gives light; It brightens your life up
It shines in the darkness
It brings in focus
It shows things clearly. 
It warms, it soothes, it comforts. 
The very feeling of being loved, comforts. 
Love is quenched by nothing else
Love alone satisfies. 
No amount of wealth or comforts, 
Can replace love
Not even lust, nor pleasure. 
Yes love is wonderful
To love and to be loved
How beautiful is love in its finiteness? 
How much more can an Infinite God love? 
Limitless, unconditional, Agape love. 
If His love was with tags, 
He would have ceased to be God
While we were still sinners
While we were still His enemies
He first loved us
Not emotional or tickling os senses
Proactive, hard working selfess love
Shedding the last drop of blood
To redeem me. To make me His own
To let me enjoy in His presence for eternity
To enjoy me for eternity
Fire purifies. Fire cleanses all dirt
That is what His love does too
Seeing the intensity and passion of His love
Should I not purify myself? 
Should I not be holy as He is? 
He has given His all
Shall I not give my all too?

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Covenantal Promise

Gal:3:17 What I am saying is this: the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God; so as to nullify the promise. The covenantal Promise was given first. Later the Law. Therefore the Law isn't greater. The Promise is. The Law doesn't invalidate it. But ascertains it. It was an addendum. The promise is based on grace alone. Not that grace came along afterwards. It was not by deeds that Abraham was saved. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness.  So does it mean that the election is based on your  faith? Because the first mention is about being chosen because of Abraham's faith. Then look further more. You have been chosen by Grace even before you were born in your mother's womb. Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. Grace. Mercy. Kindness. Love

Eph:2:1-9 Dead. Dead in our transgressions and sins. Disobedient. Gratifying the cravings of the sinful nature. Under the ruler of the kingdom of air. Made alive. By Grace - incomparable riches of His grace. From objects of wrath - made alive with Christ - seated us with Him - in heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. By a God rich in mercy . Holy Spirit

Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession. Eph:1:13-14 The process starts with belief. Once you believe, you are marked ( infact you were marked - past tense. That in itself is another writing). Marked with a seal ie. the promised Holy Spirit. Seal is something which denotes ownership or belonging. The Lord's possession are we (v:14). His precious property. He has put His seal of affirmation upon us, so that the devil cannot lay claim. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life is the evidence , the guarantee that you belong to Him. Is the Holy Spirit active in your life? Are you receptive and responsive to the nudgings of the third person of Trinity? The Holy Spirit of God.
