Isa:6:3
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Heaven's Armies
The whole earth is filled with His glory.
One of the greatest and most indispensable attributes of God. (though it doesn't mean that others are subordinate to it). That God is infalliable. The seraphs that Isaiah saw were singing of His holiness. So are the living creatures that John saw.
The fact that He is a holy God with no iota of sin in Him, creates a huge reverance and fear in our hearts. That is why Isaiah said, it is all over, I am doomed, for I am a sinful man, I have filthy lips and I live among people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the king the Lord of Heaven's armies. Peter also echoed, Go away from me, for I am a sinful man.
God's holiness and my sinfulness are in two extremes. God's purity only accentuates my wretchedness. It reveals it more. All I can do is to seek mercy; seek forgiveness. Helplessly run to Him to show mercy.
As we wall in His presence daily, let His holiness be more revealed. And my sinfulness be more exquisite and the need of grace be more obvious and be enabled to seek Him more at His feet. Indulged in His love.
