Gentle flowing water - a prose

Isa:8:6
My care for people of Judah is like the gently flowing waters of Shiloah. 

Tender loving care of God. I have placed you in my palms. 
You are my signet ring, He says. 
His love encompasses and engulfs you. How soothing it is to be indulged in His care. 
All over you. Underneath you. All around you. 

But you have rejected it. You are more concerned about momentary deliverances. 
As long as the trouble is there, you think about God. 
You stay close to Him. 
But when all is well, you forget His presence. 

Once the problem is solved, you don't even wait to utter a thanks. 
You take Him for granted. 
As if you deserved it, or you attribute it to luck
Why do you forget His attributes? 

Why there is no consistency in your following your leader? 
Where is your reflection? 
The Holy One; the Infalliable One:- Where is your holiness? Why do you still love sin? 
The Eternal One; The Almighty and All Powerful:- Where is your trust? That all things He will work for your good. 
The Loving Everlasting Father; the Wonderful Counsellor:- Why not in His bosom you lay? 
The Prince of Peace:- Where is the peace that passeth all understanding that He promised? 
The Creator King; in Him and through Him and for Him. Then why this swelling up with pride? Why this anger? Why this adamance? 
Why there is no humility like your master? Who wiped clean His disciples feet. 
Who humbled Himself to obedience unto death. 
Then why do you argue to ascertain your point? 
Why not let go? Why don't you let your brother win? 

Why so self oriented? But your example came according to the will of the Father. 
Why do you want to project yourself presentable? 
Why do you want appreciation from others - when there is someone waiting there overflowing with love? 
Why do you do or say things to please others? 
Why do you get hurt when others tell ill of you? You are His beloved. Your Father loves you eternally. 

"Come back"  isn't the right word. 
Why can't you stay? 
Why do you want to pay a visit and then go back? 
Stay. Enjoy. Indulge. 
The gentle water is always flowing. 
Not to just drink and be satisfied and go into the world, to be thirsty again. 

But to make this bank your dwelling place. 
Walking with Him daily. 
Dwelling in His presence 24 x 7
Enjoying His company always. 
Be a citizen. Not a visitor.

Micah:4:12 That He is gathering them together To be beaten up and trampled Like sheaved of grain on a threshing floor.  The Lord gathers together to beat and trample. Oh! Isn't it mean? Generation gap

A message for children.  Pro:1:8 My child listen when your father corrects you Don't neglect your mother's instruction Generation gap.  A terminology we snuggly fit in to ease the discomfort in a difficult relationship between a father and a son or a mother and a daughter. Children say they are older generation. They don't understand the present scenario. They don't understand our needs. Their advises are all old fashioned. Not fitting into the present world.  Little do they understand that their parents also might have felt the similar way about their parents only to realise the value of their parent's admonitions later on in their lives as adults. That parents have the wisdom of life. Moreover if godly parents, they being directed by God the Eternal Father, it is indeed wise to accept their advice. Even more importantly, they are God given authority. And their love to you is beyond anyone else in this world. Your own blood. Who else would want the best out of your

Trust

He is close to those who trust in Him. Nah:1:7 Oh! When you feel all alone in this dark world. When you feel you don't have anyone to lean on to. There is one person who promised to be with you, always, to the end of days. He has promised to never leave or forsake you. All we have to do is to just trust in Him. He is true. He will never fail. Even if heaven and earth will fail, His word will always remain.  He is faithful. What are we supposed to do Lord?

Micah 6 V:3 What have I done to you?  What have I done to make you tired of me?  V:5 Don't you remember, my people?  When I the Lord did everything I could To teach you about my faithfulness.  V:6 What can we bring to the Lord?  What kind of offerings should we give Him?  V:8 This is what He requires of you.  To do what is right, to love mercy And to walk humbly with your God.  This is the only thing you're supposed to do Oh! bard. Only thing He requires of you. Not to accomplish great things for Him. Not to conquer nations for Him. If that is your calling, well yes, do it. But more important for Him is this. Very simple thing He expects of you.  To do what is right. According to His heart. According to His standards.  To love mercy. To deny all self righteousness and self centeredness, be filled with compassiin and consider others better than yourself.  To walk humbly with your God, denyinh your own self. Delight

Ps:147:11 The Lord's delight is in those who fear Him If you delight in Him, He will delight in you. Oh! Is it like tit for tat?  No dear bard! He has already delighted in you. He has loved you while you were still His enemies. You are mine He declares. You are His signet ring, He proclaims.  Not because you fear Him. Not because He foreknew you would fear Him. But because He loves. Hosea was asked to marry a harlot and he continued to love her despite her unfaithfulness. Just like He continues to delight in you oh! When you don't have anything else to do......

In the fish's belly Jonah was there for three days and three nights. In that dark place, he could only look to God. He could not run away, which he was so specialized in. He couldn't do anything else which he was an expert. He couldn't do anything he wanted to desperately do. All he could do was to sit in God's presence.  Sometimes God places you in circumstances where you can only pray. You can do nothing else. And at that time, please pray. Do not try to do anything else. Even if you do not feel like praying, that is the time when you are supposed to. Helpless as you are, you can open up to your Father. Words do not matter at that time. The Holy Temple

Micah:1:5 Where is the center of idolatory on Judah?  In Jerusalem; it's capital.  The very place which was supposed to be kept sacred and holy, has now been defiled and become the very center of desecration. Fully polluted and corrupted. Why should He not be wrathful?  The heart of holiness; which was supposed to be the throne of the most High God with all His richness and glory has been befouled and debased.  The very heart dear bard - which is supposed to be the temple of the most Holy God, what all do you entertain? Confines the king to a corner in your quiet times and church and bible study. As if you give charity and satisfy Him and then you do whatever you want, the rest of the time.  You think you can fool around with His holiness? This is one chant that goes up in heaven for eternity - Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty. Oh! Don't nullify it with your fancies.  He is serious about His holiness.
