Burden


Give your burdens to the Lord
And He will take care of you
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall
Psalm:55:22

There is no need to carry your burden. No need to walk around with a heavy heart. No need to walk with a heavy back pack which cripples you and bends you like the pilgrim.
These burdens might be traditional, which runs through generations. Could be the fancies of your own mind. Could be part of being cornered and bullied by assertive characters around you. These boundaries are probably set by the lack of respect and love that you have received. Could be the result of the barbarous voices in your head which enslaves you, tortures you.
Could be a sickness. Could be financial precariousness. Could be insecurity because you couldn't be what you were supposed to be and your inability to provide or perform.
Could be the heaviness of your addictions. One side you see yourself going down the drain helplessly. On the other side you are unable to control.
Could be the lack of love that you so longed but failed to receive. There was someone who once loved you so dearly and is not with you right now. May be a break up. May be death has taken a toll and separated. May be you feel all alone in this busy and humming world.
Halt.
Whatever it is! However big the mountain seem to be! However impossible it looks to be!
Matt:11:28 Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.

There is no other place
There is no other way
There is no other hope.

Trade these ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness like a crown
Coming to kiss the feet of mercy
I lay every burden down
At the foot of the cross.

Enslaved

Rom:6:22 Enslaved to God. I want to be enslaved to God. I want to do things which please God. I want to come out of the slavery I'm stuck in. Where I am forced to do things which I hate to do. It was also credited

Rom:4:22 Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness. Till now we were talking about the saving faith of Abram, which is credited to him as righteousness. Now Paul talks about faith in the promise of God. That also was credited to him as righteousness. So faith is progressive and increasing in Abram's case. First the saving faith, and then faith in his daily challenges. Yet faith is not about the promise. But the promise maker. The promise keeper. Because that promise came from the One and only faithful and true God, it is trustworthy. While claiming a promise, you give importance to the promise perse. Not the person who gave it. What Abram believed is that God said something, therefore I am sure it will happen. When you read the Word of God and as you receive a personal promise, see it as God communicating to you. Forgiven is not nullification, but justification

Rom:4:7-8 Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven. And whose sins have been covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account. Quoted from Psalm 32. Written by King David. Immediately after being caught redhanded after the adultery with Bathsheba and murder of Uriah. David realised he has failed. He recognized that there is utter absence of his personal merit. He sighs inwardly to begin with, if at all God would cover my sin, how blessed I would be. He acknowledged the enormity of his sin, but it is also true that the imputed righteousness is even bigger. The compassionate love of his God is even greater. There is no sin dark enough. Rom:8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. We are His children. His very own. We are His beloved. The King of kings. We have the privilege to call Him Abba Father. Heirs of God. Co-heirs with Christ. Will not this Almighty Abba Father give you everything you need? Will not He protect you from every danger? Bane lifted
