Him Alone - Poem

The Lord's desire is just one thing

That you would follow Him all the days of your life.and not bow down before other gods

Others who seem, yet are only stones or wood

Yes, you would not bow down to idols

You would not follow after other non living non existent god's

But what is your priority, what do you want to pursue

Career, ambitions, passions -non living non existent gods.

To love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul

To seek Him and Him alone

To walk in accordance to and

In accompaniment with Him alone

You, O Lord, alone I seek

You, alone I desire, I worship

In your bosom alone, I rest complete

Your feet alone I embrace, my tears mixed with Your blood.
