Asa was a king of Judah who did what was pleasing in the Lord's eyes.
But he was not foolproof. He remained completely faithful to the Lord throughout his life. Although the pagan shrines were not removed and when Baasha, king of Israel attacked Judah, instead of running to the Lord, he made a treaty with Benhhadad, King of Aram.
Although everything went well in his lifetime, in his old age, it is said, his feet became deceased.
Are you in a counterfeit world, thinking you are close to God, doing things for him, doing things for the church and for his kingdom? But your heart is far away from God. I'm not judging Asa, for the Bible says he did what was pleasing to God, but something was missing in his life.
Is passion to God missing in your life?
