Weak


About Samson, it is said, he killed more people when he died than he had during his entire life time. This was against the Philistines. And that too happened when he was blind and after he was imprisoned and tortured.
Jephthah was initially rejected and chased away by his own brothers, with a band of rebels. He defeated the Ammonites.
Gideon's clan was the weakest in the tribe of Manasseh and he himself testifies that he is the least in his family. He leads the Lord's army of a mere 300 against the Midianites.
Canaanite army chief Sisera was a man with 900 iron chariots for himself. He was killed by a 3 part army, two of them were women.
Peter was too timid to stand in front of a servant girl.

You think you are weak and helpless?
You are the right person to be used by God. Because when you are weak, you realize it is not possible to do something out of you strength. And it is then when God does amazing things through you.

2Cor:12:8 My power works best in weakness.

What an amazing delivering thought?
Do you feel weak?
In lock down do you feel you are not able to do anything?
As a non medical person, do you think you are not able to help?
His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Amen. God will use you through unseen ways in these testing times. May you be an encouragement to many these days. May you reflect your Father more, to the much needed generation in this present scenario.

The Revelation

Revelation is often considered a difficult book to understand. A book which you often can't make head or tail of. Full of prophecies about what is about to happen. How do you interpret it in the present scenario. Who is antichrist. Where is a loving God in this? Unanswered questions all around. But here is a promise. Rev:1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. The attempt is not to give full answers to all your questions. The attempt is to read and hear and believe, so that we would all be blessed. Because the time is very short. Read and hear and believe. To have a gentle and quiet spirit, is an incomparable unfading inner beauty. The real beauty is not your outwardly appearance. Real beauty is your inner spirit - to be gentle and quiet. Eternal life

What is eternal life? 1 John:2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us - even eternal life. The Triune God remaining in you and you in Him, is eternal life.  John:17:3  - Now this is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent Eternal life is not something you will receive on the other side of death. Golden streets, the river that will continue to flow without being dried up, fruits on trees in all season. Eternal life is now. It is knowing Him and remaining in Him. Life in all its abundance. Do not be surprised

Do not be surprised my brothers, if the world hates you.  1 John:3:13 No element of surprise. Expect the worst. Expect hatred. Expect no love. Then you won't be surprised. Because the world hated Jesus first. The world. Not directed to people. The system. We are enemies of the evil one.  So naturally the principalities of this world will fight. Hate. Giving is better than getting

Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. 1John:2:15 If you love the world, then the love of the Father is not in you. Anything of this world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, these are the things that you can summarise about the world. These are not of the Father. If you have these, it is evident that the love of the Father is not in you. The cravings of your body, the second look that you look, the boasts of your life, are against the Spirit who is in you. Anything self centred is not from the Father. Anything that gives you selfish pleasure is not from the Father. But anything that pleases the Father is centred around selfless love. To give.
