Whenever Moses went into the Tabernacle to speak with the Lord , he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the Ark’s cover—the place of atonement—that rests on the Ark of the Covenant. The Lord spoke to him from there.
Numbers 7:89 NLT
Two aspects are important here.
Moses speaking and the voice of the Lord speaking.
Moses everytime he went to the Tabernacle both these happened.
Some of us want to speak to God only. Just want to present our requests alone.
Some of us want to hear God speaking alone. No talking back to him
Both are important. Speaking and listening.
Dear ones we have the privilege that the Lord resides in us. His temple is our body now and we can go up to Him anytime we wish. Unlike Moses.
Even in our bed. While driving.
While cooking.
While working.
While playing.
Anytime is quiet time. Anytime is relation time.
Are we serious about that.
