Forgiveness


Num:14:19 In keeping with your unfailing love, please pardon the sin of this people, just as you have forgiven them ever since they left Egypt.
Next verse says, Then the Lord said, "I will pardon them"

No sin is too great that God cannot forgive.
No sin is too heavy the Jesus couldn't carry it on the cross.
His unfailing love is the reason for the forgiveness you received. He did not wait for the Israelites to seek pardon, so that He could extent His hand of forgiveness.
He just forgave them - because of His unfailing love. That is the epitome, because 1Cor:13 says that love never keeps a record of being wronged.
Because of His unfailing Agape love for me, He doesn't keep a list of my wrongdoings. He just forgave.
You might have messed up you life. Or you might not realize you have messed it up, but enjoy in the dirt, still lurking around sin. The choice that God has made, is to forgive your sins because He loves you unfailingly.
What is your choice?
What do you want to do with this sin that God is trying to point out?
The first step of seeking reinstation with God is to admit that you have wronged and you have messed it up by hiding it or trying to solve it on your own. All in vain. When we realize that we are helpless, only then we understand that we need help. Seeking forgiveness from God out of a genuine heart and not to gain something from Him, not to grant your wish. But because you realize that you have hurt God.

Forgive me Lord, I have grossly messed up my life. Sorry that I have hurt you heart. Sorry that I have disappointed you. Out of your unfailing magnificient love, please forgive me and like David I pray that you would restore the joy of salvation. Amen

The Revelation

Revelation is often considered a difficult book to understand. A book which you often can't make head or tail of. Full of prophecies about what is about to happen. How do you interpret it in the present scenario. Who is antichrist. Where is a loving God in this? Unanswered questions all around. But here is a promise. Rev:1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. Stained - a poem

Jude 23 Hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Oh! Child of God, what is your approach to stain? Why compromise to wear a cloth Which the Lord loathes It brings intense detest to Him! Do not be surprised

Do not be surprised my brothers, if the world hates you.  1 John:3:13 No element of surprise. Expect the worst. Expect hatred. Expect no love. Then you won't be surprised. Because the world hated Jesus first. The world. Not directed to people. The system. We are enemies of the evil one.  So naturally the principalities of this world will fight. Hate. 2 John:6 And this is love, that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. Love is obedience. Obeying His command of love. Everything you do is based on love. Love to God; and love to others. Love is the source based on which you act; you live Love not manufactured from broken cisterns But love that pours out from the source of unending living waters. Without love you do something is not genuine, but superficial and mechanical And that is not walking as He walked. He walked with love. He lived with love. Eternal life

What is eternal life? 1 John:2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us - even eternal life. The Triune God remaining in you and you in Him, is eternal life.  John:17:3  - Now this is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent Eternal life is not something you will receive on the other side of death. Golden streets, the river that will continue to flow without being dried up, fruits on trees in all season. Eternal life is now. It is knowing Him and remaining in Him. Life in all its abundance. Life to the fullest as it is designed to be. Yes it extends to eternity.  That it is not limited to a time frame, is just one dimension to it.
