Num:7:1-11
The day the Tabernacle and the furnishings and utensils were anointed by Moses - the tribes brought their offerings of 6 wagons and 12 oxen. These were distributed to the tribes of Levi themselves inorder to help them in the work they do. The Gershonite and Marrarite divisions.
V:9 says - But He gave none of the wagons or oxen to the Kohathite division, since they were required to carry the sacred objects of the Tabernacle on their shoulders.
Totally unfair? Or extremely privileged?
It all depends on how you see it. What more privilege than carrying the sacred objects of the Tabernacle on your very own shoulders?
When I look into my life, I have been the most privileged in my life. Yes life has had its difficult times and there were times I was just fed up not knowing what to do. But when I realize that what God planned for me is ultimately for my good, there comes no room for complaints or injustice but only gratitude.
When question arises - Why me? Why only me?
When you finally conclude - It is not fair!
When life turns a dark turn- What to do now?
When you often ask -What's the practical solution?
When the world tells you -Keep striving harder.
And it continues to budge - This was not expected.
Many a times you'd say - It is enough, I'm done.
The Lord says - You are privileged to carry this load.
It is you whom I chose for this job to be done.
Not because it is difficult and you would be able to do it.
But because I will give you that strength.
I will carry it on to completion - I who entrusted you.
