Wishes everywhere. Let 2025 be more blessed than 2024.

Probably Jesus is the only person who has asked you to expect worse things ahead - In this world you will have many troubles. He also said - Since I the master of the household have been called the prince of demons, the members of my household will be called even worse names. It was at its peak when He said - All nations will hate you because you are my followers.

A hard pill to swallow.

Jesus has always said to expect troubles and persecutions. His promises of blessings where of different genre. But persecutions - for sure. And the early church had their heavy share. As a child of God you will also have, dear one. That is for sure. Because you are inducted into a different kngdom and the enemy would try tooth and nail to deem you useless and powerless, to discourage you and make you ineffective. But if you endure till the end, you will be saved.

To all these reality expectations, He adds - do not be afraid, be of good cheer, do not be discouraged. For I am with you. Situations might look uncertain, but He who holds the situations in His hands, is certain.

He is enough.

Even though I walk through the valley of shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you are with me.

Jesus never gives you unrealistic, undue, unhealthy promises. He gives you a reality check. But with an unending promise as a tagline......

Amazed - Poem

Matt:8:9 Does your faith amaze Him or disappoint Him? I have never ever seen faith like this - Will He tell this about you? I have never ever seen love like this? Worry

Not to worry about everyday life. Matt:6:25 6 times Jesus mentions the word 'worry' in Matt:6:25-34 Which means He wants to stress on the fact that worrying is utter foolishness and strikingly useless. If you worry; it is a matter of mistrusting your Father in heaven. That He will take care isn't a reality for you. Logically speaking, by worrying you cannot solve or alleviate your problem. Only affects your mental and emotional status. But whereas by trusting, you are more at peace as you realize that you are in the palm of His hands and for sure, He is Jehovah Jireh and He will not leave you or forsake you. Unconventional route

When Jesus does miracles and blessings in our lives, we need Him. But when He does it in a different way, when He does it in a way in which it costs us, do we still need Him? Matt:8:34. The entire town came out to meet Jesus, but begged Him to go away and leave them alone. Because they suffered financial loss. There, sitting before them were two men who have just been delivered from a legion of evil spirits. The hand of God is quiet obvious. But financial loss is what they blame Him with. If God asks you to take unconventional routes, do you become uncomfortable? Routes which cost you, your time, your finances, your privacy, your reputation and name? What is more important to you determines what you do. What other things you forsake. We are no less than the Gaderenes who closed their eyes to the miracle in front of their eyes, yet clinging on to the loss they suffered. Silly and pitiful. Founded

Founded on a rock Matt:7:25 Where is your life founded on? Rock or sand? Unless you know the word of God; unless you live according to it, when storms and wind hit you straight on your face, you will fall for sure. And that too, great would be that fall. In this world you will have much trouble, and when troubles strike you hard, this is how you stay strong. Stay rooted in the truths of the Word of God. Make your foundations right. Not just a mere knowledge, not just an acquaintance. But living it out. This Christmas, let's make our foundations deep and strong. Let us know Him more. Let us live Him more. Balanced equation

Everyone who acknowledges me publicly, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. Matt:10:32-33 The equation is very simple. If you acknowledge that you follow Jesus publicly here on earth; He will also acknowledged you before the Father in Heaven. The devil might lodge a claim that you are his. But the moment the Son of God acknowledges you, His righteousness, the Father sees in you and you are justified. But if you have denied Him in this earth. He will also deny you. Whether you accept it or not. This is the truth. Rom:10:9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Eye

Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. Matt:6:22 Oh be careful little eyes what you see Oh be careful little eyes what you see The Father up above Is looking down in love. Oh be careful little eyes what you see. A tiny song that we learnt as children, but carries heavy significance even for us now. What goes in you either purifies you or defiles you. And the eye is the major gateway of what goes inside of you. And the phone in your hand is the highway that leads to that gateway right now. What do you feed yourself with? Search history tells it out loudly. Whether you have cleared your search history or whether it is in incognito mode or whether your watch history is off. It might be hidden to the world or to your spouse or to your children or to your friends. But apart from you there is one more person who knows it through and through. In fact spick and span. Do you know your God? A prose

Who is this man? Even the winds and the waves obey Him. Matt:8:27 Have you know your God enough? Do you know whom you follow? Are you aware of your Father's power? Even the winds and waves obey Him. Is He able to calm the storm? Oh! Yes. Even when you have so little a faith? Absolutely. The Almighty. The All Powerful. The All Knowing God. Is your Wonderful Counsellor. Eternal Father. Prince of Peace. This Sovereign God is on your side. Then who can be against you. Is He able to sort out your life? Yes. Is He able to organize your life? Truly. Then why can't we trust Him?
