Man's purpose - a prose


Honour the Lord; honour the statutes of the Lord
Consider it worthy to obey His commands
That shows the depth of your love to Him
If you love me, you will obey my commands, He said.

Be serious about God, not as your pocket genie
He is God Almighty, Holy is His name
Not your favourite toy to carry around
He abhors sin, but you play around with it. 

He is El-kannah God, jealous He is
Who doesn't want His glory to be taken by an idol
There are lots and lots of it in your life
Which replaces the love due for Him. 

Seek ye first the kingdom of God. 
And His righteousness
And all these things shall be added unto you
Is He the only one you seek; every moment of your life? 

His standards do you endure? 
His statutes do you keep? 
His ways do you walk? 
Oh! All have fallen short of the glory of God. 

He desires that you be God oriented 24*7
To be a man after God's own heart
To be the man He desired you to be
To love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul. 

Man was created in His own image
Initially the purpose was this
But fallen; man lost it all
But God is giving you yet another chance. 

How well do you utilize this second chance? 
The word at your hand
The Almighty walking with you hand in hand
The love inexhaustible, limitless, Agape

For eternity is full of God
How well do you know Him
For, Eternal life is knowing the Father
And the Son whom He sent. 

When the heavens roll up
When the Son of man comes on His white horse
When He sits on the white throne
Will you hear "Well done"?

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Covenantal Promise

Gal:3:17 What I am saying is this: the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God; so as to nullify the promise. The covenantal Promise was given first. Later the Law. Therefore the Law isn't greater. The Promise is. The Law doesn't invalidate it. But ascertains it. It was an addendum. The promise is based on grace alone. Not that grace came along afterwards. It was not by deeds that Abraham was saved. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness.  So does it mean that the election is based on your  faith? Because the first mention is about being chosen because of Abraham's faith. Then look further more. You have been chosen by Grace even before you were born in your mother's womb. Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. Grace. Mercy. Kindness. Love

Eph:2:1-9 Dead. Dead in our transgressions and sins. Disobedient. Gratifying the cravings of the sinful nature. Under the ruler of the kingdom of air. Made alive. By Grace - incomparable riches of His grace. From objects of wrath - made alive with Christ - seated us with Him - in heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. By a God rich in mercy . Holy Spirit

Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession. Eph:1:13-14 The process starts with belief. Once you believe, you are marked ( infact you were marked - past tense. That in itself is another writing). Marked with a seal ie. the promised Holy Spirit. Seal is something which denotes ownership or belonging. The Lord's possession are we (v:14). His precious property. He has put His seal of affirmation upon us, so that the devil cannot lay claim. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life is the evidence , the guarantee that you belong to Him. Is the Holy Spirit active in your life? Are you receptive and responsive to the nudgings of the third person of Trinity? The Holy Spirit of God.
