#Happy New Year 2023

There are a lot of allegories in the Bible, lot of similies which compare God's children to trees that will flourish. 
Psalm: 1,92
Jer:17
      Producing fruits of all kinds
      In season and off season
      Will not wither
      Will flourish
      Grow strong
      Not bothered / not worries
      Leaves stay green

Yes! Such is the Godly. Such is the children of God. Why? Because that is God's plan for His loved ones. God's call is to bless. He loves and chooses to give the best. He chooses to provide not only eternal blessing; but blessings in this world as well. 
Practically how does it work out? 

Ps:92:13 For they are transplanted to the Lord's own house
They flourish in the courts of our God. 

From dirty and mirky marshland, God has transplanted you and me into the rich and fertile soils of His courtyard. 
It is not dirty water or sub optimal and inadequate minerals that you take in anymore. But God's chosen soil has the choicest minerals handpicked for you and the purest water. 
As you feed on His word daily. 
As you imbibe His presence. 
As you spent time in His bosom every moment. 

Flourishment happens naturally. No more surviving; but thriving in His eternal presence. Being blessed to be a blessing for others. To be God's channel. Only because of one thing - that you are transplanted to His Kingdom. From darkness to light. From being stolen to be richly supplied. That is the truth. 

May this New Year enable you to recognise this truth of being transplanted and enable you to thrive just as He has planned for you.

The Revelation

Revelation is often considered a difficult book to understand. A book which you often can't make head or tail of. Full of prophecies about what is about to happen. How do you interpret it in the present scenario. Who is antichrist. Where is a loving God in this? Unanswered questions all around. But here is a promise. Rev:1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. The attempt is not to give full answers to all your questions. The attempt is to read and hear and believe, so that we would all be blessed. Because the time is very short. Read and hear and believe. Sneak out - a poem

1 John:3:6 No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him. 1 John:3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin. Eternal life

What is eternal life? 1 John:2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us - even eternal life. The Triune God remaining in you and you in Him, is eternal life.  John:17:3  - Now this is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent Eternal life is not something you will receive on the other side of death. Golden streets, the river that will continue to flow without being dried up, fruits on trees in all season. Eternal life is now. It is knowing Him and remaining in Him. Life in all its abundance. Life to the fullest as it is designed to be. Yes it extends to eternity.  That it is not limited to a time frame, is just one dimension to it. Do not be surprised

Do not be surprised my brothers, if the world hates you.  1 John:3:13 No element of surprise. Expect the worst. Expect hatred. Expect no love. Then you won't be surprised. Because the world hated Jesus first. The world. Not directed to people. The system. We are enemies of the evil one.  So naturally the principalities of this world will fight. Hate. Love is walk - a prose

2 John:6 And this is love, that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. Love is obedience. Obeying His command of love. Everything you do is based on love. Love to God; and love to others. Love is the source based on which you act; you live Love not manufactured from broken cisterns But love that pours out from the source of unending living waters. Without love you do something is not genuine, but superficial and mechanical And that is not walking as He walked. He walked with love. He lived with love. Husband and wife

Unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. 1 Pet:3:4 Though this is told to the wives; it is a very good admonition for all of us. To have a gentle and quiet spirit, is an incomparable unfading inner beauty. The real beauty is not your outwardly appearance. Real beauty is your inner spirit - to be gentle and quiet. Not to be quarrelsome. Not to be picking fights. But to be a peacmaker. especially in your family. V:1. Wives, in the same way, be submissive to your husbands. In which same way?
