King forever -Poem


Psalm:93:2, 5
Your throne, O Lord has stood from time immemorial
You Yourself are from the everlasting past
Your royal laws cannot be changed
Your reign, O Lord is holy forever and ever. 

You are King forever
Your reign lasts forever
No beginning; You have always been in control
No end; Your will, be forever. 

No beginning; You are the King of my past
You've done miracles
I praise you for my salvation
Saved me from the wretches of hell, destined for me. 

No end; You are King of my future
Seated on Your right side. 
As co-heir with the Son. 
My eternal future You've taken care of. 

If so; Why am I so faithless for the present? 
King forever; Eternal Father; Everlasting God
Why I'm unable to trust for the now? 
How saddening to see my own mistrust? 

To fret; to worry; to be discouraged. 
Is to not cling on to Him. 
Even though I walk through the valley of shadows
I am expected not to fear. 

Worried about how to make the ends meet? 
Anxious about a persistent thorn? 
Fretting what future lies in hold of me? 
It is forgetting, You are King forever. 

Tensed about the future of mine? 
Heart beats faster? Hyperventilating? 
Always seated on the edge? 
It is deliberately forgetting Your Kingship in my life. 

Lord! Dawn on me this truth
Imprint in my heart this infallibility
That you are in control; You are King forever. 
Let me close mine eyes and imbibe this. 

You were not created; From time immemorial, "You are"
Your throne is established forever. 
It stands on your truthfulness; Your holiness
Your love; Your unchangeability; Your faithfulness. 

Today I cling on to my King. 
My allegiance is to you; Like a child to a father. 
No matter what; I will put my trust in You. 
For that is what I am created for.

Everything we need

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. 2 Pet:1:3 Everything we need for our life in this present world; all our material needs; all our basic needs. And also for godliness; that is to grow in the knowledge of God; to build up in a relationship with God. Everything that you can think of. Everything you can ask for. Everything that you need. Has been given. It is yours for the taking. He will provide. For His name is Jehovah Jireh. Only we have to take it. Only we have to believe it and receive it. Why has He given us this? Is it because of our goodness? Is it because God foresaw our good deeds and therefore He gave it? Not at all. Wretched, poor, blind, naked as we are. He just gave it to us. Where O dear is your aversion to sin? You who claim to love God You who claim to be loved by God Why do you still cling on to it, so precious? If Christ lives in you, if Jesus is enthroned Why do you harbour filth In the corner of your heart? Where the doors are kept closed, inaccessible to Him. Eternal life

What is eternal life? 1 John:2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us - even eternal life. The Triune God remaining in you and you in Him, is eternal life.  John:17:3  - Now this is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent Eternal life is not something you will receive on the other side of death. Golden streets, the river that will continue to flow without being dried up, fruits on trees in all season. Eternal life is now. It is knowing Him and remaining in Him. Life in all its abundance. Life to the fullest as it is designed to be. Yes it extends to eternity.  That it is not limited to a time frame, is just one dimension to it. Do not be surprised

Do not be surprised my brothers, if the world hates you.  1 John:3:13 No element of surprise. Expect the worst. Expect hatred. Expect no love. Then you won't be surprised. Because the world hated Jesus first. The world. Not directed to people. The system. We are enemies of the evil one.  So naturally the principalities of this world will fight. Hate. Love is walk - a prose

2 John:6 And this is love, that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. Love is obedience. Obeying His command of love. Everything you do is based on love. Love to God; and love to others. Love is the source based on which you act; you live Love not manufactured from broken cisterns But love that pours out from the source of unending living waters. Without love you do something is not genuine, but superficial and mechanical And that is not walking as He walked. He walked with love. He lived with love. Unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. 1 Pet:3:4 Though this is told to the wives; it is a very good admonition for all of us. To have a gentle and quiet spirit, is an incomparable unfading inner beauty. The real beauty is not your outwardly appearance. Real beauty is your inner spirit - to be gentle and quiet.
