The grain offering is the second offering we see in Leviticus. It was a voluntary offering. Which required a lot of effort from our side. The grain had to be ground to fine or choice flour - probably which could be done in a hand powered millstone only. With great effort.
No offering is easy. A voluntary toil only makes it qualifiable and definable as an offering.
There is no easy way.
Rom:12:1 says about the same thing. Living and holy sacrifice - pleasing and acceptable to God.
As we live our lives as a living sacrifice, do we take an extra effort? Are we conscious enough to make every effort as in 1 Pet:1:5 to make our lives as a pleasing aroma to God?
It is easy to flow with the current. But to swim against the current and stay pure for God is extremely difficult. Desiring to stay pure for God is a pleasing sacrifice for Him. God tells King Saul the same thing - obedience is better than sacrifice.
It takes an extra effort. But that is worth it coz it pleases your Father.
