clean


Lev 11 tells of a list of animals that are clean and unclean. A list of those animals which are to be avoided because they defile.

Initially when God designed and created man in Gen 1, he designed him as a veggie.

Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food.
Genesis 1:29 NLT

I was infact shocked to realize this. Being a fan of non veg diet, it was heart breaking for me.
But God because he loves us, because of his love for us, he budged to our likeness it seems. He agrees on man eating non veg, but only clean ones.

Peter later in Acts encounters this stand of God. Where he realises that everything that God created is clean and there has to be no distinction between anyone. 
The system at that time defined Cornelius to be unclean (according to the Jews). But God was proving to Peter infact that nothing (or everything) is unclean and receiving Jesus is the only way to be clean be it a Jew or a gentile. 
All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I'm in no way an advocate of veg or non veg diet. But I'm an advocate of making yourself clean through the blood of Christ. All are invited.

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. Eph:3:20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us. Holy Spirit

Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession. Eph:1:13-14 The process starts with belief. Once you believe, you are marked ( infact you were marked - past tense. That in itself is another writing). Marked with a seal ie. the promised Holy Spirit. Seal is something which denotes ownership or belonging. The Lord's possession are we (v:14). His precious property. He has put His seal of affirmation upon us, so that the devil cannot lay claim. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life is the evidence , the guarantee that you belong to Him.
