The Book of Remembrance

Mal:3:16-18

What is the benefit of fearing God? Why should I live a life always thinking about the honour of His name?

Is it not foolishness to forsake all the riches and goodnesses of this world and follow some ideology which seems abstract?

The answer is in today's portion.

Your name will be written in a scroll of remembrance.

What use if my name is written?

Rev:20:12 says- and the books were opened including the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.

Rev:20:15 reads - and anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the Lake of Fire.

If your name is not in that book then, that's it. You're done.

So what if my name is written in it? But still I will be judged according to my deeds are right?

Mal:3:17 - On the day when I act in judgement they will be my own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares his obedient child.

Rom:8:1 Now there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

John:3:16 - So that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

John:3:18- There is no judgement against anyone who believes in Him.

John:3:36- And anyone who believe in God's Son has eternal life.

John:8:36- So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.

Rom:10:9- If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

If your name is in that book, you shall be spared for sure. And how to have your name written in that book? Know that Jesus Christ is God. Believe that He came down from heaven to earth. And accept that He died as a sacrifice instead of me for my sins and He has been raised from the dead and that He is coming back.

Rom:3:22 - We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.

Rom:3:24- Yet God with undeserved kindness declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins.

Rom:3:25- People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood.

That is the righteousness, Malachi the prophet talks about - though we are all wicked, we are declared righteous, made right with God, if we accept the redemptive act on the cross. And then you are saved from eternal punishment.

Knowing these is knowledge and accepting this is wisdom. That is the difference you can make. He is not one of the gods. But The Only True Righteous God.

Whether you accept it or not (this is the truth) decides your destiny(for eternity).

Love beyond the enemy line - a poem

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Covenantal Promise

Gal:3:17 What I am saying is this: the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God; so as to nullify the promise. The covenantal Promise was given first. Later the Law. Therefore the Law isn't greater. The Promise is. The Law doesn't invalidate it. But ascertains it. It was an addendum. The promise is based on grace alone. Not that grace came along afterwards. It was not by deeds that Abraham was saved. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness. So does it mean that the election is based on your faith? Because the first mention is about being chosen because of Abraham's faith. Then look further more. Formed

Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. To purge out all that is unChristlike. Grace. Mercy. Kindness. Love

Eph:2:1-9 Dead. Dead in our transgressions and sins. Disobedient. Gratifying the cravings of the sinful nature. Under the ruler of the kingdom of air. Made alive. By Grace - incomparable riches of His grace. From objects of wrath - made alive with Christ - seated us with Him - in heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. By a God rich in mercy . Grace

Gal:1:15 But when God who had set me apart even from my mother's womb and called me through His grace. A persecutor of the church; a tormentor of Christians. Chosen. Set apart even from His mother's womb. By Grace. Grace is too simple a word to say. Yet a heavy word to comprehend. Why would He give unmerited favour, when we least deserved it. Why do I quickly desert?
