How can we return when we have never gone away. Mal:3:7
You cannot return, unless you realize that you have gone astray. You cannot come back. If you are comfortable in the wrong path that you are plodding on. Unless you are restless and uncomfortable realising the gravity of the deviation you took, you will not be able to return.
Unless you feel the depth of your fallenness, how will you want to come out of that dungeon. Do not be comfortable there. It will do you no good but sink you further down.
Teach me to be humble Lord, for I know you resist the proud. Help me realize the girth of my fallenness and enable me to return. Help me to come to you like the tax collector and not the way the Pharisee approached you.
