In proverbs, wisdom is personified as God and loving wisdom is synonymous to fear of God.
Fools are told as to hate knowledge.
Pro:1.33. All who listen to me will live in peace,
Untroubled by fear of harm.
A wise man, a person who loves this wisdom, the one who lives a life fearing God will live in peace. It doesn't guarantee a life free of trouble. But in the midst of all troubles, he will be at peace.
When the dove brought back the olive shoot, still there was only water all around to be seen for Noah. But the olive branch and the dove coming back brought peace in His mind, despite what he kept on seeing all around him.
This is the peace that passeth all understanding that God is in control. No matter how bad the situation looks like, He Sovereign. And the one who trusts in the Almighty will never be shaken.
And if I don't have that peace, there is poor understanding of this God personally dear one. He doesn't change. He is the same yesterday today and forever. It is your trust that dwindles. Not Him
