Now return to me and I will return to you. Mal:3:7
Now this is how God is different from man. Man keeps a record of the wrongdoings. Though not bitter (even as he forgives) he cannot forget. Man remembers everything his neighbour did to him.
But God forgives and as He forgives, He forgets. The moment you return to Him, He will return to you. Though He never went away anywhere.
A Father who runs to embrace the returning repentant son. When He sees him far off, He runs to meet His lost son. Doesn't allow him to speak at all, but lavishes His love upon him.
Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. Isa:30:15
