Those who trust in me will never be put to shame
Isa:49:23
None of us want to be ashamed before others. None of us in this world want to be defamed. Everyone wants to be appreciated. Everyone wants to be approved not condemned.
The fallen nation will rise again. The people will gather from the ends of the earth under one nation, that was proven to be scattered. The promise is, the Lord will bring them back under one flag.
Though there was no open ridicule among the nation's, when this happened ultimately in May 14, 1948, it was God's name that was being glorified. He is true; that fact is ascertained. He stayed true to His word and Israel was finally honoured.
Though He says again and again that He does not work in accordance with the system of this world, He does it yet, again and again because He says He would.
You have turned our mourning into dancing
You have taken off my sack cloth and clothed me with joy Ps:30:3
Never again will you be called 'The forsaken city' or 'The desolate land'
Your new name will be 'The city of God's delight' and 'The bride of God'
For the Lord delights in you
And will claim you as His bride. Isa:62:4
Instead of shame and dishonour
You will enjoy a double share of honour
You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land
And everlasting joy will be yours Isa:61:7
But why does He do that? - Not for your sake. For His name's sake.
And if you concentrate on this doing of His rather than Him, you are no less than the one's who Jesus Himself calls as hypocrites who looked for a political uprising caused by a leader called Messiah. Messiah had come to offer salvation for many not to save them from the clutches of the Roman Empire. They got it all wrong.
Yes God will honour you. For you are His love. You are His bride. The ultimate honour happens at the time of judgement where those who are washed in His blood are called to eternity to part take in His heirship. And if you focus on the glory here rather than knowing God which is defined by Jesus Himself as eternal life - you miss the point.
