Secure in His treasure pouch (Poem)


1Sam:25:29 (Abigail to David) 

Even when your enemies try to chase you
For unexplained reasons if they seek to kill you
Your life is safe in the care of the Lord your God
Your life is secure in His treasure pouch

What a beautiful place it is to be
In the treasure pouch of the Lord
Always in His hands, the precious pouch will be
He opens it often, to see whether I'm safe

The pouch in itself might be ragged
But the treasure in it is secure
Safe in the arms of my God
He will not let any harm befall me. 

The enemy tries to destroy me
He targets me, my weak points to bring me down
But Lo! My God has me safe in His pouch
Which He has placed in the palm of His hands. 

No one can snatch me from my Big Brother's hands
And yes, my Father's hands are there too
No one can snatch me from my Father's hands
Yes I'm safe in the treasure pouch. 

The devil may throw his arrows upon me
Because the treasure pouch is in His hands
My Father protects His own hands
No evil will befall me as long as I am there in His palm. 

The warmth of His palm, tells me His love
The sweat and the blood, the price He paid
I will never leave you nor forsake you
What did I do, to deserve such love? 

You my son, are engraved in my palm
My last drop of blood, I shed for you
This I'll not let go in vain
I'll not let you go to eternity without Me.

Name

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Joel:2:32 In His name there is salvation. And if you call on His name you will be saved for sure.  Jesus.  Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end.  In Him and through Him and for Him everything was created.  Son of God.  Son of David.  Root of Jesse.  Lion of Judah. The Lamb who was slain.  In His name there is freedom. In His name there is deliverance.  Why?  Because He alone has done the redemptive act on the cross. No other name could do that. Sinless perfect lamb of God became a sin offering instead of me.  He alone is worthy to do that. Therefore His name frees. His name delivers. His name saves. Rain

For the rain He sends demonstrates His faithfulness Joel:2:23 The rain keeps coming. Season after season. Showers of blessings. Not mercy drops. It proves He is a good God. He is fully in control. He cares for us.  We can see rains as either a curse or as a blessing. How we see it and acknowledge it increases our faith to Him who is faithful. He continues to shower His blessings no matter what the circumstances are. For He is always good. He is always merciful. He is always faithful. Keep your promise forever

Ps:146:6 He keeps every promise forever.  Everyone loves promises. It is even more beautiful when the promise is fulfilled.  God is a God of promises and He is faithful. What He promises He always fulfills. Not even one goes wayward.  There is no doubt about the general promises He makes in the Bible. One by one we see them fulfilled through the story of Israel and early church.  There are enough and more personal promises which are staring at you face on. He is faithful to fulfill all of them too forever. It is upto us to believe and live a peaceful life trusting in the One who called us. Rather than like a high tension wire, ready to snap.  Can we believe - He will take care. He is enough. He is sufficient. He is faithful. He never changes. He will not sleep nor will He slumber. Damascus

O Damascus. You have sinned again and again. You have bet down my people in Gilead. You have threshed the grains with iron sledges (Amos:1:3). You have been cruel. You have been rebellious.  But in that road to you O Damascus. I will raise up my most used servant. He himself had tortured my own children, my own church. But I will give one opportunity which he cannot resist. Instead of the blood he shed, I will enable him to win souls for me. In that road to you, O Damascus, the cruel Saul will become the gentiles' Paul.  Through you O Damascus I will prove yet again that my hand is not too short to rescue anyone whom I want to save. No pit is too dark that I can't go there to redeem. The cross is the reason. The world will know, O Damascus through you. You will know, O Damascus because of the change you will see in yourself.  Through you O Damascus, everyone will see that the worst of sin that they have committed will be forgiven. Healing

Hos:14:4 Then I will heal you of your faithlessness As you keep coming back to God's bosom with repentance, He will heal you of your faithlessness. Man has so fallen that the healing of faithlessness takes effort, takes time, takes a lot of grace.  His lovingkindness heals you of this that hampers you most. Your faithlessness, the root cause of your problems, will be healed.  For it is said, without faith it is impossible to please God. From that plight, it is His promise that you will be healed.  And He is faithful. He is true to His word. And when He says it will happen for sure. As you keep coming back to Him, He will heal. Picture abhi bhi baaki hai mere dost

Joel:2:25 You might be torn apart by the locusts. By the variety of locusts; one after the other. One swarmed. One hopped all over you. One stripped you. One cut and tore over you. You might be in shreds and pieces because of the repeated and persistent attack which nearly kind of destroyed you. You might not have even known what is happening. Before you even realised, you are in pieces, not able to be brought back to life. The enemy might have been bragging and gloating over his victory over you.  But picture abhi bhi baaki hai mere dost.  It's only the interval.  For God Almighty, the King of Kings declares this revelation in your suspense thriller, which chills the bones of the villian as well as the viewers.  It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.  Oh!
