Miss


The high priest is never allowed to tear his garments( Lev:21:10) because it is the priestly garment that he wears and has to be dealt with due respect and holiness.

With reference to Jesus' trial before the Council, Caiaphas is seen to tear his clothing in horror saying  "blasphemy"

Was he that passionate for the things of God? That he considered blasphemy as something extremely guilty but not having reverence to God's commands? Well I feel he was blaspheming God infact and not Jesus - to be precise!
If he was so pious and religious as he was showing off, being the high priest, he would have known that a high priest is not supposed to tear his priestly garments.

He thought he was close to God in the Most Holy Place, but forgetting the very Holy God standing in front of him in person.
He thought he could protect God by judging guilty any blasphemy against God, but forgetting his responsibility as the high priest.
He thought his heart was close to God, but actually it was far away from Him.

He missed the whole point.

Dear one where are you? Do you falsely believe you are close to God, but actually quiet far away? Do you think, being ritualistic in things of God will bring you close to Him?

James:2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

No matter how meticulous you would be in your rituals, if you miss one, you are guilty of it all.
Rituals and rules are not going to take you anywhere.

Jesus said I am THE way. There is no other way to come close to God.

Trust

He is close to those who trust in Him. Nah:1:7 Oh! When you feel all alone in this dark world. When you feel you don't have anyone to lean on to. There is one person who promised to be with you, always, to the end of days. He has promised to never leave or forsake you. All we have to do is to just trust in Him. He is true. He will never fail. Even if heaven and earth will fail, His word will always remain.  He is faithful. What are we supposed to do Lord?

Micah 6 V:3 What have I done to you?  What have I done to make you tired of me?  V:5 Don't you remember, my people?  When I the Lord did everything I could To teach you about my faithfulness.  V:6 What can we bring to the Lord?  What kind of offerings should we give Him?  V:8 This is what He requires of you.  To do what is right, to love mercy And to walk humbly with your God.  This is the only thing you're supposed to do Oh! bard. Only thing He requires of you. Not to accomplish great things for Him. Not to conquer nations for Him. If that is your calling, well yes, do it. But more important for Him is this. Very simple thing He expects of you.  To do what is right. According to His heart. According to His standards.  To love mercy. A message for children.  Pro:1:8 My child listen when your father corrects you Don't neglect your mother's instruction Generation gap.  A terminology we snuggly fit in to ease the discomfort in a difficult relationship between a father and a son or a mother and a daughter. Children say they are older generation. They don't understand the present scenario. They don't understand our needs. Their advises are all old fashioned. Not fitting into the present world.  Little do they understand that their parents also might have felt the similar way about their parents only to realise the value of their parent's admonitions later on in their lives as adults. That parents have the wisdom of life. Moreover if godly parents, they being directed by God the Eternal Father, it is indeed wise to accept their advice. Delight

Ps:147:11 The Lord's delight is in those who fear Him If you delight in Him, He will delight in you. Oh! Is it like tit for tat?  No dear bard! He has already delighted in you. When you don't have anything else to do......

In the fish's belly Jonah was there for three days and three nights. In that dark place, he could only look to God. He could not run away, which he was so specialized in. He couldn't do anything else which he was an expert. He couldn't do anything he wanted to desperately do. All he could do was to sit in God's presence.  Sometimes God places you in circumstances where you can only pray. You can do nothing else. And at that time, please pray. Do not try to do anything else. Even if you do not feel like praying, that is the time when you are supposed to. Helpless as you are, you can open up to your Father. Words do not matter at that time. The Holy Temple

Micah:1:5 Where is the center of idolatory on Judah?  In Jerusalem; it's capital.  The very place which was supposed to be kept sacred and holy, has now been defiled and become the very center of desecration. Fully polluted and corrupted. Why should He not be wrathful?  The heart of holiness; which was supposed to be the throne of the most High God with all His richness and glory has been befouled and debased.  The very heart dear bard - which is supposed to be the temple of the most Holy God, what all do you entertain? Confines the king to a corner in your quiet times and church and bible study. As if you give charity and satisfy Him and then you do whatever you want, the rest of the time.  You think you can fool around with His holiness?
