Keep lamp burning

Lev:24:2 Keep the lamps continually burning.

One of the permanent job required of Aaron and his sons was to make sure they keep the lamps in the lampstands in front of the Tabernacle burning continually - day and night shifts were employed.
The responsibility was the priest's to keep it burning.
A God who brought down fire 🔥 from the heavens to burn down Elijah's altar, is He not able to burn this lamp continuously? But God wanted man to take up responsibility.
To keep your lamp burning is your responsibility dear one.

How do I grow in my relationship with God? It is by investing in knowing Him.
 Imagine the first time you feel in love - you wanted to know more of her, you wanted to talk to her, you wanted to tell her more about you, everything concerning you. This wanting to spent time with her was motivated by love. 
To be rich in your relation with God, you need to invest more, for investing more you need to be motivated by love and for being motivated by love you need to recognise the depth of His love.
The more we realize the depth of His love, the more we want to spent time with Him and that helps us to understand more of Him. A continuum.
I'm not talking about spending your time with God in the morning or evening and labelling it as quiet time or prayer time. It is more than that.when you fell in love, were you not always thinking of her? Did you keep a check of time.

What books or articles do you read?
What entertains you?

Oh then life becomes so saintly and dull and without much fun. Is it?
Let me tell you- it only becomes more exciting when you are in harmony with the master planner.

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Why do I quickly desert?

I am amazed that you are quickly deserting Him who called you. Gal:1:6 How do I desert Him who called me? By believing in a different gospel! How has your belief changed? Has self sufficiency creeped in; instead of absolute trust? Has materialism barged in; instead of simplicity? Has pride crawled in; instead of humility and self denial? He should increase. That Jesus Christ is in you. 2 Cor:13:5 This is the test. Is Jesus Christ in you? Are you taking your choices, based on His presence in your life? Do you deny your desires to obey Him completely? Do you resist temptation, with a strong will power and self control, no matter how alluring it will look, knowing that these are things which He abhors, He disgusts. Covenantal Promise

Gal:3:17 What I am saying is this: the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God; so as to nullify the promise. The covenantal Promise was given first. Later the Law. Therefore the Law isn't greater. The Promise is. The Law doesn't invalidate it. But ascertains it. It was an addendum. The promise is based on grace alone. Not that grace came along afterwards. It was not by deeds that Abraham was saved. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness.  So does it mean that the election is based on your  faith? Because the first mention is about being chosen because of Abraham's faith. Then look further more. You have been chosen by Grace even before you were born in your mother's womb. Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. Grace

Gal:1:15 But when God who had set me apart even from my mother's womb and called me through His grace. A persecutor of the church; a tormentor of Christians. Chosen. Set apart even from His mother's womb. By Grace. Grace is too simple a word to say. Yet a heavy word to comprehend.  Why would He give unmerited favour, when we least deserved it.
