Keep lamp burning

Lev:24:2 Keep the lamps continually burning.

One of the permanent job required of Aaron and his sons was to make sure they keep the lamps in the lampstands in front of the Tabernacle burning continually - day and night shifts were employed.
The responsibility was the priest's to keep it burning.
A God who brought down fire 🔥 from the heavens to burn down Elijah's altar, is He not able to burn this lamp continuously? But God wanted man to take up responsibility.
To keep your lamp burning is your responsibility dear one.

How do I grow in my relationship with God? It is by investing in knowing Him.
 Imagine the first time you feel in love - you wanted to know more of her, you wanted to talk to her, you wanted to tell her more about you, everything concerning you. This wanting to spent time with her was motivated by love. 
To be rich in your relation with God, you need to invest more, for investing more you need to be motivated by love and for being motivated by love you need to recognise the depth of His love.
The more we realize the depth of His love, the more we want to spent time with Him and that helps us to understand more of Him. A continuum.
I'm not talking about spending your time with God in the morning or evening and labelling it as quiet time or prayer time. It is more than that.when you fell in love, were you not always thinking of her? Did you keep a check of time.

What books or articles do you read?
What entertains you?

Oh then life becomes so saintly and dull and without much fun. Is it?
Let me tell you- it only becomes more exciting when you are in harmony with the master planner.

Able

Eph:3:20 Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us. If this is true, then why do I live a life full of concerns and fears about the uncertainties of the future. Of the things which are out of my control. Stumbling block

Eph:4:2-3 How do I live my life worthy of my calling? - be completely humble. What is there to be proud? When you remember from where you have been saved. Knowing that whatever you have is a gift, that you do not deserve. Knowing that you are an inherent rebel, a wretch, saved by Grace. - gentle. Gentleness comes out of humility. Arrogance and rudeness comes out of pride. Moses was meek enough to write that he was the meekest man ever lived on earth. - patient. Impatience again comes out of a feeling that you are somebody, which you are not. Patience accomodates because of love. Patience gives yet another opportunity, despite not deserving it. - bearing one another in love. Loving the other person will solve most of our problems in relationships. Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Holy Spirit

Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession. Eph:1:13-14 The process starts with belief. Once you believe, you are marked ( infact you were marked - past tense. That in itself is another writing). Marked with a seal ie. the promised Holy Spirit. Seal is something which denotes ownership or belonging. The Lord's possession are we (v:14). His precious property. He has put His seal of affirmation upon us, so that the devil cannot lay claim. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life is the evidence , the guarantee that you belong to Him. Made known

Eph:1:9 He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Christ. He is not a stingy God, that He would want us to force open His closed fist and find out what He has hidden from us. But His will, He is willing to reveal to us according to His good pleasure, that He purposed through Jesus Christ. A loving Father, willing to reveal His mysterious will, out of His love to one rebellious son. The son is still rebellious, but the Father is willing.
