Established

Pro:16:3

Commit your works to the Lord.

And your plans will be established.

Success is something you run after, in everything you do. No one wants to fail.

Be it a project in school. Be it an exam. Be it the game you play. Be it the competitive exam you write. Be it the small tasks that you are involved in. You want success.

And the key to success is consistency some say. Failure is the stepping stone to success. You keep trying and success will come after you. But precisely speaking, there is no surety to that. Thomas Alva Edison failed 2774 times to get the electric filament glowing. Yes he persisted 2775 times and success was part of his story.

But imagine the "N" number of scientists who would have failed and failed and failed again. They all might have been consistent but still finally failed. Only one would come out as the first man to invent. They rest have all fallen short. We don't even know there name!

So actually success is not what we should run after. It is establishment. Peace. If this is what you run after, even if you do not succeed, there will be rest. Because, establishment is not based on the result, but on the process. And the process is committing your works to the Lord. To live the life of Godliness or God orientedness. To seek Him always. Not to be action oriented, thinking about my plans.

Well I want to be a neuro-onco-surgeon and I will strive hard for it. Do not be disappointed if you do not turn out to be. That would be established if it is God's will. And if it is not it will not be established. But you will be in the center of His will. What more do you want?

Love beyond the enemy line - a poem

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal:3:26 Enemy I was; born to hate Him. Told to hate Him; I was His sworn in enemy. I had declared rebellion. To be tortured, to be 'punished', to be killed. So that I could be saved. I saw that far beyond in that line. Insignificant as I am, did He do it with me in His mind? He looked at me with passion. He told my name - 'for you I endure' and ...

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Why do I quickly desert?

I am amazed that you are quickly deserting Him who called you. Gal:1:6 How do I desert Him who called me? By believing in a different gospel! How has your belief changed? Has self sufficiency creeped in; instead of absolute trust? Has materialism barged in; instead of simplicity? Has pride crawled in; instead of humility and self denial? He should increase. And I should decrease. Paul the greatest missionary, the saintest of us all, trained and knowledgeable of all spiritual doctrines and truth, says I am a bond servant of Christ; I am the worst of all sinners. Covenantal Promise

Gal:3:17 What I am saying is this: the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God; so as to nullify the promise. The covenantal Promise was given first. Later the Law. Therefore the Law isn't greater. The Promise is. The Law doesn't invalidate it. But ascertains it. It was an addendum. The promise is based on grace alone. Not that grace came along afterwards. It was not by deeds that Abraham was saved. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness. Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. To purge out all that is unChristlike. Grace

Gal:1:15 But when God who had set me apart even from my mother's womb and called me through His grace. A persecutor of the church; a tormentor of Christians. Chosen. Set apart even from His mother's womb. By Grace. Grace is too simple a word to say. Yet a heavy word to comprehend. Why would He give unmerited favour, when we least deserved it.
