Why O Lord have you created me like this?
Why do you allow me to go through this?
Why me O Lord? Why me?
What wrong did I do?
Questions that you raise about your identity
Your very existence; loom around
Especially when things are not going your way
When things do not go the way you expected.
Point #1. What is the relvance of these queries?
Isa:45:9 Does the claypot argue with its maker?
Its His good and pleasing will that He made you thus
What right do you have to question?
You are finite. He is eternal
You are the creation. He is the creator
Not because you keep your mouth shut before a tyrant
He is a good king. But you revolt.
Point #2. That's a lot of mistrust
You tell God. You do not know to ride in this system
This is not how it runs in this world
Whereas He allows this humbling experience with a purpose.
Filled with pride and arrogance are you
God is trying to speak of a different kingdom
Where humility and love is more important
But you question His omniscience.
Point #3. You question His goodness.
His very character. His very nature.
Not seeing the big picture. The eternity.
When you question. You rebel.
Rom:8:28 All things God works for good
Pro:3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
He is a God who loves you
Will He let you go through something which He does not will?
Point #4. We have a God who has suffered worse.
He understands the loneliness and the pain
And the fear and all that we suffer
At a greater degree. On the cross.
He is compassionate. He understands.
He empathizes. He loves.
Rather than asking, 'Why'
Why don't you seek Him. Tell Him 'Help'
As you go through realms which you cannot fathom
Take courage dear one.
The Lord is in control. The Lord knows.
The Lord is an everpresent help in trouble.
Questions will never take you anywhere.
But seeking His will: His good and perfect will
His very own heart, will take you through
For He has plans to prosper.
