God


Think of God. He is not a God of your imagination. Who could be as weak and fragile as you. 

He is God, who imagined and created everything. He is the One who fashioned it. He is not created. He is everlasting God. 

He sustains it everyday, every moment. The animals look to Him for survival. The sun and the moon and the stars and the seasons are all at His perusal. 

He judges righteously, for He is holy. He is not corrupt. Not a tinge of sin is in Him. 

It is this God that we worship. 
Isa:40:16
All the wood in Lebanon's forests
And all Lebanon's animals would not be enough
To make a burnt offering worthy of our God

That is exactly why He had to be the sacrifice Himself. In order to save mankind. In order to bring him back to Himself. 

The imploration is to trust this God. And not fret about anything else in this world. 
Isa:40:31
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength
They will soar high on wings like eagles
They will run and not grow weary
They will walk and not faint. 

That is the true One's promise. The promise is not that you will be free of problems. But you will soar above all your problems. The problems wouldn't affect you as you have a God who is everlasting. You will run and not grow weary. You will walk and not faint.

The Revelation

Revelation is often considered a difficult book to understand. A book which you often can't make head or tail of. Full of prophecies about what is about to happen. How do you interpret it in the present scenario. Who is antichrist. Where is a loving God in this? Unanswered questions all around. But here is a promise. Rev:1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. The attempt is not to give full answers to all your questions. The attempt is to read and hear and believe, so that we would all be blessed. Because the time is very short. Read and hear and believe. To have a gentle and quiet spirit, is an incomparable unfading inner beauty. The real beauty is not your outwardly appearance. Real beauty is your inner spirit - to be gentle and quiet. Eternal life

What is eternal life? 1 John:2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us - even eternal life. The Triune God remaining in you and you in Him, is eternal life.  John:17:3  - Now this is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent Eternal life is not something you will receive on the other side of death. Golden streets, the river that will continue to flow without being dried up, fruits on trees in all season. Eternal life is now. It is knowing Him and remaining in Him. Life in all its abundance. Do not be surprised

Do not be surprised my brothers, if the world hates you.  1 John:3:13 No element of surprise. Expect the worst. Expect hatred. Expect no love. Then you won't be surprised. Giving is better than getting

Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. 1John:2:15 If you love the world, then the love of the Father is not in you. Anything of this world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life, these are the things that you can summarise about the world. These are not of the Father. If you have these, it is evident that the love of the Father is not in you. The cravings of your body, the second look that you look, the boasts of your life, are against the Spirit who is in you.
