Mk:8:33
Get away from me satan, he said, You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God's.
This words of Jesus, about Peter came immediately after his confession about Jesus the Messiah. When he thought in human point of view and not in God's point of view, Jesus recognises it as from the devil.
As a child of God, it is our privilege to see things as God sees and to think in God's ways. Anything contrary to this is definitely not from God's, but devil blinding us. It is making us suboptimal and inefficient in our efforts and in our lives.
If we are in tune with God's heart in our lives, imagine how powerful and effective we can be. Even if we do not recognise it, the devil knows it. That is why he makes us believe in the things that we see. Seeing is not believing. As a child of God, the spiritual realm opens up a wide range of things for us to see in the eyes of faith. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In accordance to His good and wonderful will for us. In accordance to the plans He has for us to prosper us and not to harm us.
Seeking God and being in harmony with Him is quintessential to live such a life. Unless you know His heart, how will you live according to it? Pray that you would desire God alone more than anything else in this world.
