Pupil of the eye

Zech:2:8

The pupil of the eye is one's most precious possession. All reflexes try to protect the pupil. Pupillary reflex to light is a sign of life. Therefore it is very close to life itself. God says, you are the pupil of His eye. His treasured possession. Very close to His heart. Therefore He will protect you with all His might. That is why He is a protective wall of fire around you. He is a shield around you.

Ps:91:3-6

He will rescue you from every trap

And protect you from deadly diseases.

He will cover you with His feathers

He will shelter you with His wings

His faithful promises are your armour and protection.

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night

Nor the arrow that flies in the day

Do not dread the disease that stalks in the darkness

Nor the disaster that strikes at midday

10-11

No evil will conquer you

No plaque will come near you

For He will order His angels

To protect you wherever you go.

14-15

The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me

I will protect those who trust in my name

When they call me, I will answer

I will be with them in trouble

I will rescue and honour them"

What more do we want. An assurance that the Almighty Father will protect me from all arrows of the evil one. Emotional, Physical, mental, financial. He is with me in this. And He has promised not to leave or forsake me. And He is a true God who never lies. He will do it.

The Revelation

Revelation is often considered a difficult book to understand. A book which you often can't make head or tail of. Full of prophecies about what is about to happen. How do you interpret it in the present scenario. Who is antichrist. Where is a loving God in this? Unanswered questions all around. But here is a promise. Rev:1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophesy and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near. The attempt is not to give full answers to all your questions. The attempt is to read and hear and believe, so that we would all be blessed. Because the time is very short. Read and hear and believe. Everything we need

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. 2 Pet:1:3 Everything we need for our life in this present world; all our material needs; all our basic needs. And also for godliness; that is to grow in the knowledge of God; to build up in a relationship with God. Everything that you can think of. Everything you can ask for. Everything that you need. Has been given. It is yours for the taking. He will provide. For His name is Jehovah Jireh. Only we have to take it. Only we have to believe it and receive it. Why has He given us this? Is it because of our goodness? Is it because God foresaw our good deeds and therefore He gave it? Not at all. Wretched, poor, blind, naked as we are. He just gave it to us. Eternal life

What is eternal life? 1 John:2:24-25 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us - even eternal life. The Triune God remaining in you and you in Him, is eternal life. John:17:3 - Now this is eternal life. That they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent Eternal life is not something you will receive on the other side of death. Golden streets, the river that will continue to flow without being dried up, fruits on trees in all season. Eternal life is now. It is knowing Him and remaining in Him. Life in all its abundance. Life to the fullest as it is designed to be. Yes it extends to eternity. That it is not limited to a time frame, is just one dimension to it. Do not be surprised

Do not be surprised my brothers, if the world hates you. 1 John:3:13 No element of surprise. Expect the worst. Expect hatred. Expect no love. Then you won't be surprised. Because the world hated Jesus first. The world. Not directed to people. The system. We are enemies of the evil one. So naturally the principalities of this world will fight. Hate. 2 John:6 And this is love, that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. Love is obedience. Obeying His command of love. Everything you do is based on love. Love to God; and love to others. Love is the source based on which you act; you live Love not manufactured from broken cisterns But love that pours out from the source of unending living waters. Without love you do something is not genuine, but superficial and mechanical And that is not walking as He walked. He walked with love. He lived with love. Love to the Father.
