Zeph:3:17 With His love, He will calm all your fears.
Oh! Why do you fear? Fear about future. Fear about the past. Fear about the present. Fear of people. Fear about circumstances and situations which we are not in control of.
It is out of fear, that you push yourself to a corner, not having courage to venture out and be the man you are intended to be. Fear of failure. Being satisfied with the mediocre.
It is fear, that tries to protect. Through arrogance, through rudeness. Through assertiveness. Trying to establish authority and control. Though temporary.
Both though being extreme are inadvertent outcomes of fear, which is out of uncertainty. And this is how you counter this fear.
1 John:4:18 - Perfect love expels all fears.
Once we get even a glimpse of His unending love and trust in this love, who would never fail us, who intends only good for us, then fear is cast out. Because with His love, He calms all our fears.
2 Tim:1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self discipline.
Though we do not deserve this love, He has loved us unconditionally. That was His choice. And therefore, we do not deserve fear too. It is our choice. We are kings and priests in the Holy Kingdom. Sons, heirs and co-heirs. Children of God. Then why fear?
