Jonah:1:3
Hoping to escape from the Lord by sailing to Tarshish.
You can't escape God
From His statutes, from His standards
He is who He is - from the beginning to the end
He doesn't change. He is the same.
You can't escape God.
The sin He abhored then, He abhors now too
No compromise. No dilution.
Sin is a sin is a sin for Him. And for you?
You can't escape God.
His eyes always search the world.
Like a hound in the heaven
He is watching over you - 24 x 7.
You can't escape God
If He has asked something
You can't run away like Jonah did
Hoping He'll not notice. He will not bother.
You can't escape God.
The Maker, Sustainer, Judge.
At some point if you reject the compassionate Jesus
Later you would face the righteous Judge.
Do not try to run like Jonah
It's useless. Acknowledge Him while you're young
He will make your paths straight.
He promises life to the fullest.
You can't escape the love of God.
Which was poured out full on Calvary
Do not close your eyes deliberately
Lest you should be rejected later.
For He will not ignore, as you have.
He would judge according to your deeds
Either to His bosom. Or to the fiery hell.
Either of this is sure.
You can't escape God
It's foolishness. Utter foolishness
Be rich unto God
For it is the fool who says, there is no God.
For God calls, him who truly seeks God, wise
So if you run from Him now
Not only are you called a fool in the present.
But you would lose the race in the last lap. Disqualified.
