Ezek:43:12
And this is the basic law of the Temple; Absolute holiness.
Absolute holiness - This is only what He desires from His temple. Nothing else.
When God created man in His own image and likeness it was this holiness that was imparted on him. His absolute holiness.
It was from this absolute holiness that man had fallen by disobeying.
It was this absolute holiness that He has, that is imputed on the absolutely unholy me; when I put my trust on the finished work on the cross.
It is this absolute holiness that He desires of us.
Thought it is impossible for us to live in that absolute holiness. Do we desire, for being like our Father. Do we desire to be like our lover who gave His everything for us.
What is my basic law? Why do I compromise on holiness?
Why not say- no matter what, I would not deter from His standards. And if at all I have fallen, I would run back to Him with absolute repentance.
Now is it even possible?
We have an example, who lived in this earth with absolute holiness for it is said about Him, yet without sin.
But Jesus, He was God right? Yet He was a man tempted in every way. He was called the Son of Man for a reason.
Heb;2:14 Because God's children are human beings made of flesh and blood, the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.
