Oh! the shrine is still there


Jer:3:5
So you talk
But you keep on doing the evil you can. 

We want to see the providence of God. We want to see the protection of God. Yet we don't want to envision the holiness of God. Yet we don't want to entertain the pure jealousy of God. 
We want to enjoy the hand of God. Yet we forget to see the heart of God. 
All things let Him provide. But those standards He puts forth. NAY! 

Why are you trying to come back to me - Look at the shrines on every hilltop. Says God. 
As long as the shrines are there on the top, how can you seek God? 
As long as the prostituition continues, how can you ask God to protect, provide and to bless? 
Love your God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul and all your strength. This is the first and the most important commandment. 

Without love from the depth of your heart, there is no seeking. Without seeking there is no knowing. Without knowing there is no relationship. And without a relationship there is no meaning in prayer. 
Yes out of His kindness, He might "bless" you with answers for your prayers. But is that all you need, dear one? If the answer is yes, Oh! You have become so small in front of the big big Father. Who loved you so much without expecting anything back. 
Not even foreseeing that you would be of use (or not) for His kingdom. He loved so that you would be benefitted, you would be blessed, you would inherit. And you would become heirs of things you couldn't even imagine. 

The Lord looks down from heaven
On the entire human race
He looks to see if anyone is truly wise
If anyone who seeks God - Ps:14:2

Will He find you or will He yet again be disappointed?

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Covenantal Promise

Gal:3:17 What I am saying is this: the Law which came four hundred and thirty years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God; so as to nullify the promise. The covenantal Promise was given first. Later the Law. Therefore the Law isn't greater. The Promise is. The Law doesn't invalidate it. But ascertains it. It was an addendum. The promise is based on grace alone. Not that grace came along afterwards. It was not by deeds that Abraham was saved. Abraham believed God and it was credited to Him as righteousness.  So does it mean that the election is based on your  faith? Because the first mention is about being chosen because of Abraham's faith. Then look further more. You have been chosen by Grace even before you were born in your mother's womb. Until Christ be formed in you. Gal:4:19 That was the sole desire of Paul regarding the Galatians. That Christ be formed in them. Infact that is God's desire in your life. That Christ be formed in you completely. Formed fully in you. That you be transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus. To purge out all evil. Holy Spirit

Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession. Eph:1:13-14 The process starts with belief. Once you believe, you are marked ( infact you were marked - past tense. That in itself is another writing). Marked with a seal ie. the promised Holy Spirit. Seal is something which denotes ownership or belonging. The Lord's possession are we (v:14). His precious property. He has put His seal of affirmation upon us, so that the devil cannot lay claim. The presence of the Holy Spirit in your life is the evidence , the guarantee that you belong to Him.
