2Kings:16 King Ahaz replaced the things in the temple with things which he thought was better. All that God instituted, he changed according to his logic and wisdom. Some he used for his own benefit too. What do I do of God instituted sacraments in my life? Relationships / Responsibilities Time / Money Do I use it for God? Or for my personal benefit? Or according to my wisdom? As a father / as a mother / as a sister/ brother - do I logically try to direct things in my own comfortable ways? Or in God's ways. Because doing it in my own way according to my wisdom is rebellion, telling God, I know things better  Where as if we ask God for wisdom, to be guided to guide is humbling and saying, I don't know what to do, Help me Lord. James:1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, You should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to you.

All of us, at least for a moment would have wanted to run away, at some point of our life. Just to run off where no one knows me. A wanting to just vanish off from the present situation - be it because of a fear of sin exposed, be it ridicule, be it being caught red handed and shame exposed, be it fear of cornered for unintentional mistakes, be it lack of consideration from loved ones, be it fear of responsibility. 2Kings:15 Uzziah was a king who ruled over Judah and he did good in the sight of the Lord, like his father, Amaziah. And he was probably one of the longest reigning king of Judah - for 52 years. 2Kings:13:5 Then the Lord provided someone to rescue the Israelites from the tyranny of the Arameans. Oh! How wonderful to be that nameless somebody in somebody's life. Where He uses for the sake of His name's glory alone. Because we become a nobody in anybody's life, everybody would see God's hand. But when we try to become that somebody, it becomes useless. Yet so, in contrast, when God  brings that somebody, the purpose is served. Where lies our happiness? In helping someone or in introducing ourselves to them after the help. How many times we have vanished off from the scene after the help is done. Or do we wait to be acknowledged. Do we wait to be thanked for. Do we wait to be appreciated. We might not be the priest or Levite who did not help the Jew who was attacked by the robbers on his way to Jericho. But do we want to be known as the Samaritan who helped him?
