You ought to wash each other's feet. Jn:13:14
Because I have washed your feet, you also should wash each other's feet. Be a servant to each other. Submit to one another. Not reluctantly as if you have no other option. If you do so, pride will keep on swelling up. You would become frustrated, because you think you are the one who keeps serving always and others are bossy. Lo! That will take you nowhere.
Oh! To be empty and lowly
Meek and unnoticed and unknown...
Let Christ be all and I be nothing.
His glory shines in vessels weak.
When we selflessly serve, in reality there would be no consciousness of serving.
Why am I a doormat always?
Why am I being utilised?
Why should I suffer always?
Let it be so.
Lord enable me to cheerfully, consistently, unconsciously, willingly and by choice to be a slave to others. It is to my loved ones, that is most difficult. To be unnoticed. To be unknown. To be unappreciated. To be unacknowledged. To be just dissolved and not be seen. To be nothing. Help me Lord.
