Dan:6:14
Hearing this, the king was deeply troubled and he tried to think of a way to save Daniel. He spent the rest of the day looking for a way to get Daniel out of this predicament.
Oh! What a testimony? What a man is this Daniel? Very little do we know of him. All that is written of him in these twelve chapters is quiet less. Much more is implied in this verse. A gentile king trying to revoke his own decree for the sake of the godly man. And this is not the only king. The one before him and his predecessor had the privilege to know Daniel's God in a miraculous way. And was it the only time frame of his life? No. As a youth, as a middle aged man and as a veteran, Daniel stands for his God. His faithfulness to gentile king is exemplary. Such is his trust in the God whom he serves.
Are our employers, bosses and colleagues deeply troubled when we are in a crisis. Do they see the God whom we serve in us? Are we a good Bible to those who haven't read any?
