The last portion of Genesis.
7 years of famine is over. Joseph could very well take the initiative to take the Israelites back to Canaan, the promised land. It was in Joseph's mind always, to go back to the promised land, as promised by God to his forefathers. Jacob had told him about this vision when he blessed. But he knew it was not the time. He was willing to wait.
Now he is 110 years old. He knew that he was about to die. But he still clings on to the promise of God. Promise to his fathers. He is sure God in His time, He will take. He need not do anything. Ultimately Joseph dies in Egypt without being able to go to the promised land.
I need not do. He will take in His time. I just have to trust in the Almighty's hands that will take care of me with the best plan for me.

Waiting peacefully, trusting in Him, without being bent out of shape, without being on pins and needles, just resting on His bosom and believing that in His time He will do it and He will bring it to pass.
Eccl:3:11 He makes everything beautiful, in His time.
In His time, In His time
He makes all things beautiful
In His time
Lord please show me everyday
As you're teaching me your way
That you do just what you say
In His time. - Dianne Ball
