Mourning into joy


Jer:31:3
I will turn their mourning into joy
I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing. 

Without hope it is extremely difficult to move on. If you feel, life would go on just like this present situation, there wouldn't be an urge to press on. 
"These will change. Better days will come." Even if these words come from a futile source, is soothening to the spirit which enables you to hold on. But what if, it comes from the Almighty creator sustainer God who loves as a father? 

It is I who will TURN your mourning into joy. He takes active effort. He doesn't leave it to chance as other motivators do, nor does He prompt you to muster up your strength to come out. He doesn't blindly believe in a eutopian hope. He doesn't falsely say something which He is not sure of and then falsely give you hope. He sets out to pull you out. He transforms. He intervenes. 
He knows. He says. He does. 
And that is a surety. 
If God is for us, who can be against us. 

Why should we trust? Why should we hope? 
For He is love and He is faithful. 
He has loved with an everlasting love. 
He has plans to prosper, not to harm
He has called you to bless you. 

Dear one. If you find yourself in the deepest and darkest dungeon right now, be of courage. The everlasting all powerful, eternal God who is your Father wants to tell you this. It's gonna be alright. Everything will be fine. Whether it is depression, or financial loss, or inability to support your family, or lack of love or respect, or being ridiculed, or a habit that you are struggling with, whatever it be, your Father says - I am going to work for you. I will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrows into joy.

Be a man.

1 Cor:16:13 Be on the alert, stand firm in faith; act like men; be strong. Watch out. Look out. Be on the alert. Stand firm in faith. That is what men do. Be strong. Stay strong. Dwindling in your trust in God is what children do. Act like the man you are. Be a man. Stay strong on your faith. No matter what happens, hold fast to your God. That is mature faith. Do not let go to fear or anxiety. Be strong. Faith is trusting God, the Father despite what the circumstances look like. Knowing fully that He is in control. That He will take care and thats enough. Love beyond the enemy line - a poem

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal:3:26 Enemy I was; born to hate Him. Told to hate Him; I was His sworn in enemy. I had declared rebellion. Trust the process

Thorn in the flesh. To keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me - to keep me from exalting myself. 2 Cor:12:7 Is there something which is a constant pain for you? Something which has not sorted out yet? Something for which you have fasted and prayed but hasn't worked out still?  The pain is still there for a purpose dear one. To keep you from exalting yourself. To keep yourself humble. Know that your Abba is in control. He is Sovereign. He is good. And He will not allow anything beyond what you can endure. He has allowed this with a purpose. So when prayers are still unanswered, rejoice. For God is in control. He has this for a purpose. You might not get the big picture now. But God knows.  Trust the process.

Why do I quickly desert?

I am amazed that you are quickly deserting Him who called you. Gal:1:6 How do I desert Him who called me? By believing in a different gospel! How has your belief changed? Has self sufficiency creeped in; instead of absolute trust? Has materialism barged in; instead of simplicity? Has pride crawled in; instead of humility and self denial? He should increase. Strength

2 Cor:4:16 But though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. Though you are physically getting old, with the mental and emotional turmoil you are going through, your inner man is getting strengthened day by day. Because you are created for a greater glory, created with a purpose and God is in the process of taking you there. That transformation is happening day by day. As God is on work in you, it's a process. He will not leave it undone. My responsibility is just to take efforts to develop this forming inner man. Make him strong. Develop spiritual muscles. Work out. Spend time with word and prayer. Feed the inner man with the right things. So that your trust would increase. Your faith would increase. Your intimacy with God would increase. And your worldliness would decrease. Compels us

2 Cor:5:14 Christ's love controls us. Christ's love compels us. It pushes us to obey radically, illogically (in world's eye view).  There are people who forsake a lucrative career and prospective of earning tonnes, to go out to the unreached.  There are people who forsake scholarships to Oxford and Yale and high scores in competitive exams, just to obey what their Father has told them.  I know such people personally. But did they gain something (in accordance to the standards of the world)? Nothing. They have only lost. But they go back, contented, satisfied, knowing fully that they obeyed what their Father has told them to do, in His wonderful and perfect plan. Because this God's love compels them.  In the middle of joint pains and frustrations, if you  have been available for your brother.
