Strong arm

Be our strong arm each day. Isa:33:2 Everyday we need Him. In fact every hour. Every moment.  He is our strength. He is our Ezekiel God.  His strong arm will provide. Jehovah Jireh.  His strong arm will sustain.  He is our ever present help in times of trouble.  The mighty hand of God will take us through. He is the Almighty All Powerful God.  No one can snatch me from His hands. No one can snatch me from the Father's hands.  The wounded bruised hands are strong enough.  My soul! stop putting your trust in your own abilities. Stop putting your trust in the fattiness that the world or the self would offer. The strong arms are there to guide and support. For all things God works for good for those who love Him. Be excited to continue to see what He is going to do. The Lord is in control. The Lord will take care.

Then and Now

Isa 32:15 Until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven Then the wilderness will become a fertile land And the fertile field will yield bountiful crops.  Are you walking through a dry land? Is everything around you just thorns and briers? Is wilderness making you ineffective and inefficient?  Are you not able to come out of this, no matter how hard you have strived? Like for eternity you have been expressing to God your sigh of helplessness. But God seems so far away.  Yet a time is coming. The Spirit will be poured out on you. Deliverance is on the way.  Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep hoping. Because your deliverer and your redeemer is about to act. He is already on your side. Yes He is willing to work in your favour. He is able and He wills.  But let us remember more than the material benefits, it's about the spiritual realm He is interested in. Purging out of sins. Sharpening your trust. Making you like Him, conforming into His plans...

Look around

Ps:104 Have a look where you are.  The nature. The universe. The mightiest heavenly bodies to the tiniest micro organisms to the ultramicroscopic electrons and further beyond.  There is symmetry.  There is organization.  There is orderliness.  There is beauty.  The birds that sing early in the morning. The sun thatvrises and sets at the right time. The seasons that arrive in its appointed time. The flurry of colours in the sky. And the variety of imaginations deep down in the ocean.  Look inside of you too. The intricacies with which each cell functiins in itself is a mystery. One of them goes overboard; or one of them malfunctions, you know you will be in trouble.  Yet the master weaver designs and sustains everything beautifully.  The fool seeing and knowing all these, says there is no God. The fool says it is all by chance. A big blow has started it all. The fool believes in probability.  The probability of this being a pr...

Dust

Why is the Lord compassionate to us?  Why does He show His infinite tender mercy?  Why is it that God, Almighty and All powerful chose to be our Father?  Why is He compassionate and merciful to us?  Ps:103:14 For He knows how weak we are He remembers we are only dust.  The reality He knows. We are mere dust. We need help because we are genuinely helpless. And because of His love He gives us infinite opportunities. He does not deal harshly with us as we deserve.  He always remembers. Do we remember our actual plight? Our need for a Saviour?  If that is there, dependence and trust will naturally come.

When is healing coming? - A Poem

Times are going to change The wounds you bear; the pain you suffer Do not think, it's gonna last forever That; this is your fate and you will go to the grave with this.  When the Lord begins to heal His people And cure the wounds He gave them. Isa:30:26 That is the promise from the Almighty God Hope. Trust and believe. Do not fret.  And when is that gonna happen?  And why did He give me those wounds?  Well! That's the purpose of it all.  Not to question God. But to inquire into your heart.  Isa:30:18 The Lord must wait for you to come to Him So He can show you His love and compassion.  Yes the Lord is waiting.  For you to ask. For you to implore. For you to sort this out.  Return. Repent. Turn back from your evil ways.  The holy Lord Himself will show you the thorns.  A hidden pride. A concealed self love.  A buried sinful desire. He reveals.  And when He reveals, throw it off and run to Him Be holy as I am hol...

Holiday

In return and rest is your salvation In quietness and trust is your strength. Isa:30:15 Rest is quintessential in anybody's life. A good night sleep rejuvenates you in the morning. Quite an enjoyable holiday brings energy back to your normal life.  But we seek rest in these physicalities and forget about the more important resting in His bosom for our life perse; in toto.  Busy working. Busy travelling. Busy doing things.  We are busy with our quiet times, our attending many meetings, attending church, organizing and leading and preaching.  Yet all our loving Father asks is to rest in His bosom, quietly. Like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother's milk. Yes like a weaned child is my soul within me. Ps:131:2 Trust, hope, love, contentment, gratefulness, humility, gentleness, satisfaction, peace, joy, responsibility, genuinity, goodness, simplicity, truthfulness, patience, kindness, selfcontrol, faithfulness everything will come out of this bos...

Harmless Dragon

Isa:30:7 Judah decides to seek help from Egypt. A treaty was agreed upon for Pharoah's help. Riches on donkey's back; Camels loaded with treasures walking across the desert in order to repay for Egypt's protection.  But the Lord declares that all of Egypt's promises are worthless. What is it that you consider worthy to trust in your life? More than His word? Or atleast at par with His promise. Might not replace God. But do you develop a parallel route? Something safe that you can hold on to. Money/Talents/Relationships/Job security. These are not what you trust. In fact these become significant because you think you have it in control. Apne kabze mein......  Because you trust in what you have in control. The trust might not be in any of those material things. But the confidence is in your own self.  Whatever be it that you hold on to. These are Rahabs by God Almighty - a poetic name given to a mythical sea creature that represents chaos in ancient literature...

Trust

Isa:25:9 Surely this is our God We trusted in Him and He saved us.  What confidence when there is surity that the Almighty Lord is on our side.  Who can be against us.  But our lives are reflective of being orphans. We tend to forget that we have a Father who is there with us till the end of days. His love is endless. His compassion to us is beyond what we can imagine. We are indeed safe in His powerful hands.  Then why worry?  Trust is all we need. Trust is all we need to do. For all things God works for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Hope

A time will come...  Hope is the essential attribute that sustains us.  Hope transcends all grief, for we hope to see our loved ones again.  Hope transcends all worries, for there is a God who knows the plans He has for me.  Hope transcends all uncertainities, for God is with us till the end of days.  Without hope it is impossible to move forward. To look at that glimmering light at the end of the tunnel, that helps us to press on.  The situation will change.  Nothing will last for ever. Except the unchanging God.  On Him we can cling on to. Always He is there. That is the basis of our hope. He is the basis of all our hope.

Burden

Isa:26:16 We prayed beneath the burden of your discipline Yes! Discipline is burdensome. As we go through the deep dark valley, it seems heavy on us.  Ps:32:4-5 Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat.  Finally I confessed....  While in that burden, while that heavy load is still on our back - let us look to the Lord, let us pray, let us come close to God.  In crisis, let us seek God. And it is at those difficult times, He seems closer. Our natural response in a crisis, let it be praise. For He dwells in our praises. It pleases Him when we praise Him, when we give Him all the glory, which is due for Him. And especially when in trouble as we walk with Him, He carries us in His arms. He would not let us face it all alone. The promise, I am with you always is even more true then. Then we can say,  Even though I walk through the valley of shadow of death I fear no evil for you are with me...

Seek - A prose

Father help me to seek you earnestly Continually to be in your presence To love you with all my heart With all my soul, strength and mind In my conscious and subconscious mind Let me search for you.  My role is to seek you.  The plan you have for me is to seek you Seek and then You will be found is the promise.  To continually dwell in your presence.  That is what I am originally designed for That is what I am created for.  That is my eternal destiny To seek and find You.  Isa:26:9 All night long I search for you In the morning I earnestly seek for God.  Day in and day out Every breath; Every step Eyes set on you! Dwelling in you.  As your love surrounds me Your presence I wish to indulge Help me not to deviate from my purpose The purpose for which I am originally created for To be in your bosom for eternity Which starts now! Now is the part of eternity If I do not enjoy His presence now How can I think of enjoying His presence  W...

Peace

Isa:26:3 You will keep in perfect peace All who trust in you All whose thoughts are fixed on you Peace is what man yearns for. Inner peace. Peace within the family. Peace among neighbouring nations. When there is no peace there is unrest. That strive for peace which you do not have, pulls you into more lack of peace.  Peace is not something which you can figure out by yourself. Not something which you can work hard to get. It has to be given. Given from an unending source.  Ask of Him. The PRINCE OF PEACE. Jesus who knew all the intricacies of the gruesome death that He was about to face, never was restless. He knew Judas would betray Him. He knew Peter would deny Him. He knew all of them would desert Him. But still He patiently and lovingly took them all aboard.  Phil:4:7 Then you will experience God's peace which exceeds anything we can understand.  When will you experience?  V:6 Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything. Tell God w...

Justice

God's ways have been violated. The Creator and the Master of the universe and His laws have been twisted.  Therefore a curse is mandatory. Punishment is inevitable. A price has to be paid for sin.  The sin is rebellion which is ruled by pride. And the price that is to be paid is your life. The punishment is eternal damnation.  So small a sin. And so great a punishment?  Who says it is small?  Size of the sin depends on the size of the offender's holiness. Is there a difference between the consequences of assaulting a common man and assaulting the Prime Minister or President of the country?  Size is small when you look at it. But God and His standards are different. He looks at the root cause which is rebellion and pride. The revolt is against the Almighty.  And death is the outcome. Eternal hell. Eternally separated from the presence of God - for which you were initially created. All of us were eternally doomed.  Yet. Oh! How loving is...

Destroy the pride - Poem

Isa:23:9 The Lord of Heaven's Armies has done it to destroy your pride And bring low the earth's nobility.  The Lord loves us so much A small pride in us He wants to purge out Pride is not something which needs to be watered It leads to fall indeed, ruin and destruction.  No man is immune No one is great enough to take up God's throne Lucifer tried to do it in the heavenly realms You are trying to do it in your personal realms.  In dependance and trust is your salvation For it frees you from the rut of pride Man's fallenness leads to further pride But God's discipline frees you into dependance.  CREATED IN HIS LIKENESS. FALLEN. THEN RESTORED Now to grow back and be transformed Into His likeness: We need grace We need discipline. We need dependence.  O salvation is a crisis indeed But not a one time process The process of being saved is the process of being restored Being renewed in our mindset.

Nail

I will pull out the nail that seemed  so firm Isa:22:25 What is that nail that you hold on to? That one nail that you think holds everything. If at all that nail is there always, you feel everything is secure, everything will be alright.  Time is coming when nothing apart from God would stand. Nothing would last to hold you together. Nothing apart from being loved by Him. A time is coming when He would take off that nail, so that you would be able to realize that nothing else apart from Him is needed. Nothing else in this world you can depend upon apart from the unchanging God.  You can cling on to Him anytime. Everything else will fail.

Remember always

He is not a God who would forget you. Who will leave you in that ditch. In fact He is not a God who will forget you one moment and remember later on, with remorse or regret. Not a God who will forsake you because of His other priorities. But He always remembers you. He is mindful of you.  His plan to prosper you is always there in His heart. His plan to revel Himself more to you. His love is always there, no matter where you are.  We might forget. But He will never.  The Lord remembers.

Rock

Stop counting on things which seem powerful. Stop trusting on people who fail to understand. Stop boasting on those which seem to be strong.  These strongholds will crumble. All these assets will fall like nine pins. All that you put your hope in.  The unchanging Rock alone stands through. All others are shifting sand. All others are sinking sand.  If you think your stronghold is anything other than God, it is sure to disappoint you. That is exactly why people meet the real true God, when their health fails, when their wealth disapppints and when their most trusted allies desert them. Because the Lord was always there. The Rock that is stable. The Fortress whom I can always run to. He is always there with arms open wide, like the father who was waiting for the son to come back.  Let Him be your only resort. Your only trust. Why go after the apparent help which is sure to desert you midway.  On Christ the solid rock I stand.  All other ground is ...
